CHAPTER 22

TWO DAYS AGO…

Zeus was sitting on his office chair, swinging on it left and right. He had sent a few wolves from his pack to find out why Moon was suffering. But till now, no luck. He had called a few witches into his pack house. He wanted to do everything to pull Moon out of the pain. But he knew nothing about it.

Zeus heard a knock on the door. He looked up and found his beta, Daniel standing. Zeus signalled him to come in. Daniel came in and knelt down on the ground.

Beta Daniel: All the witches have done whatever they could, Alpha Zeus. They couldn't find anything.

Beta Daniel informed Alpha Zeus with a shaky voice.

Alpha Zeus: Then why are they here? They all are useless.

Zeus roared in anger. He stood up and threw the paper weight on the LED screen of his office. Shredded pieces of the LED were on the ground. Beta Daniel got scared but didn't stand up. He knew disrespecting his Alpha would lead him to his grave. Or worst, Alpha Zeus would disown him and he would be nothing but an abandoned dog.

Zeus ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. It had been so long and he wanted a way to help his baby brother.
