It was not until lunchtime that Janet realized that something odd was afoot at the office. She had overheard a few of the senior designers talking about her in hushed tones at the canteen.

Just then, Gerda suddenly flung open the glass doors and burst into the design department. She rushed to Janet, struggling to catch her breath all the while.
