Chapter 6

Joseph was very charming when he smiled.

But all of a sudden, he became emotionless, as if he had changed into another person.

Paige felt a little scared and continued to ask nervously, "You're being paid to do this, aren't you?"

"No way!" Joseph was really angry.

Did this stupid woman take him as the partner of the woman who had set her up?

Paige was irritated when the pimp denied so confidently and asked, "Then why were you on my bed? Are you sure that you haven't accepted Sophia's money? Aren't people of your profession paid to do that kind of thing?"

"That kind of people? Which kind of people, huh?" Joseph became a little displeased.

He realized what was going on immediately after he heard what Paige said. Now she thought that he was involved in the conspiracy and regarded him as a pimp.

Joseph was speechless. How could there be such a handsome and rich pimp like him in the world?

He was amused by Paige, who was truly innocent.

Seeing his reaction, Paige became more annoyed and said, "What are you laughing at? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"

Now Joseph couldn't laugh anymore, and he replied seriously, "I don't know the woman you mentioned. The truth was that I helped you out of danger!"

But Paige thought that he was talking nonsense, "Then why didn't you take me to the hospital?"

"I did, but you held me so tight at that time and I had no choice but to." Joseph felt a bit guilty when he said so. He did not mean to take advantage of her at the beginning.

When he saw that Paige was taken to the room by the pimp, he ordered the bodyguards to knock the pimp out, and was prepared to send her to the hospital.

However, Paige could no longer control herself at that time. She kept cuddling him.


Joseph couldn't stand her temptation and had sex with her finally.

But Paige did not believe Joseph at all, and affirmed that he and Sophia set her up together.

She was so angry and didn't say anything with a poker face.

Seeing Paige become more grouchy, Joseph stopped explaining. After a while, they arrived at the parking lot of the Central South Building.

Paige got out of the car after saying thanks angrily. Joseph felt a bit unhappy due to her rudeness.

After he had explained so much, she still didn't believe him at all.

Joseph sat in the car and watched her leave in a hurry. Then he took out a cigarette to light it.

Just a few seconds later, he saw Paige stop suddenly as she approached the entrance to the South Tower.

As Paige rushed to the building, someone stopped her with an annoying voice, "Paige!"

She turned around and saw Sophia getting out of a white Porsche.

"Paige, are you also here for Dad?" Sophia put a smirk on her face.

Hearing Sophia call Liam daddy in such a natural way, Paige felt extremely uncomfortable.

She looked at Sophia coldly without saying a word. And Ethan got out of the car as well.

Sophia held his hand affectionately, "Ethan and I also come here for Dad. How about we go together? By the way, Paige, I just saw you getting out of a man's car. Who's that man?"

Sophia was extremely surprised when she saw Paige get out of a Maybach.

She remembered that Aiden had a Maybach, and she couldn't help wondering the relationship between Paige and him.

She just said it off the top of her head last night and did not expect that they would be a couple.

Whatever, she decided to frame Paige again and make Ethan hate her to the ground.

Meanwhile, Paige felt bad after hearing what Sophia said. She thought, "Did the d*mn pimp give her a ride because of Sophia?"

Paige did not understand why Sophia set her up again since she was already dating Ethan. What the hell was she planning to do?

Now that Paige could not figure it out, she did not say a word and just looked at Sophia indifferently.

Ethan was extremely upset after hearing Sophia's words. Apparently, he had seen Paige getting out of the Maybach as well.

But Ethan still did not believe that Paige had an affair with Aiden. So he stared at Paige and waited for her explanation, but he thought that Paige's silence meant that she admitted it.

Ethan became furious, and he glared at Paige, "You shameless! I must be blind at that time!"

Paige felt it was so ridiculous of Ethan to be angry with her.

He was the one who cheated first and left her alone! And Paige was the one who had been blind and fallen in love with such a scum.

Paige walked away and didn't want to waste any time on them.
