In the department of gynecology and obstetrics of the hospital, Sophia kept checking her phone from time to time nervously on the bench.

Yesterday Ethan promised to accompany her to the hospital for a pregnancy check, but she had been waiting for an hour and a half and still hadn't seen Ethan.

Ethan wouldn't stand her up, would he?

Worried, she calls Ethan, and Elizabeth answers the phone, "There's a traffic jam, Just wait a little longer. We'll be there soon." "Why? The client didn't require you to drink last night, right?" Elizabeth knew everything about Ethan.

Ethan stood up irritably, "I'm not good. You know what? The b*ch Paige is hanging around with a gigolo. They went so far as to kiss in a car..

"Then you recurred to drinking?" Elizabeth interrupted Ethan with a sneer.

"No, I wasn't drowning my sorrows, and I was just not reconciled!"

"To what? You chose Sophia and left Paige, and nobody forced you to do so. You still remember what I've told you when you made the choice, do you?"

"Yes. But I just can't, I can't accept it! Paige never loved me and I was just a substitute of the one who had saved her, and I hate that!"

"Unfair, ha? Eagles don't catch flies. You were not doing this for love." Ethan being so sad for a woman disappointed Elizabeth completely, which made her rolled her eyes.

"How could you be so stupid? You could have married Paige and then got her and the Liam Family controlled step by step.

But look what you've done. I made the plans for you and you totally messed up the sure thing by hitting on Sophia!"

"I was so angry... Paige betrayed me first…"

"So you betrayed her after her betraying you? To provoke her? You are so naive to believe Paige would be devastated by your leaving." Elizabeth grabbed Ethan by the collar and dragged him to the mirror with fury.

"Look at yourself. Who do you think you are? There won't be any chances for you to get close to Paige without me. I'm telling you that she won't look at you again for ever, from the very beginning of your cheating!"

Ethan looked at the dowdy fellow in the mirror and couldn't help thinking of the man who kissed Paige last night. All of a sudden, he felt very self-abased.

He was nobody to Paige! He was even inferior to that man from underclass!

"Wake up! Only by getting yourself stronger can you make others think highly of you. You will never succeed if you continue to be empty-headed like now!"

It was a good wake-up call to Ethan in that Ethan clenched his fists and said, "I can make it! I can be strong!"

It was another forty minutes before Elizabeth and Ethan made it to the hospital.

Elizabeth watched Sophia's blood drawn for examination in person.

It took two hours to get the results and the doctor said "congratulations!"

When it was confirmed that Sophia was pregnant, Elizabeth looked unpredictable.

Previously, she suspected Sophia wasn't pregnant.

Now that it was real, they had to think it over carefully.

She could allow Sophia to give birth to the baby, but that did not mean she would allow Sophia to marry Ethan.

Sophia had nothing left after the scandal, and it made the matter much worse that she was driven out of the Anderson family by Liam.

It looked like that Sophia, who was not recognized by Liam, would get nothing from the Anderson family. So her marriage to Ethan could do nothing good for them.

Unless Sophia and her daughter could make a comeback. Elizabeth was wearing her frown. She could only wait for now to observe Sophia's family. After all, Sophia's sides were the ones in rush rather than them.

With a indifferent expression Elizabeth said, "Take care of yourself and the baby. I have to go. Call me."

She quickly left with Ethan, who was following her closely. Sophia was stunned, "What?"

She thought that Elizabeth would do something

But they behaved like nothing happened.

What was this elusive attitude? Sophia was disappointed and she called Isabella, "Mom, what to do now?"

"Don't rush, give me a few seconds!" After a moment,

"She said we need to talk, then we talk!"
