After Liam had finished signing the contract with Hayden, he returned home to find no trace of Isabella waiting for him.

After asking Sophia, he got to know that Isabella had gone out for a walk. Liam immediately called Isabella to ask her to return as he felt that it was improper for a married woman to be out this late.

Around an hour later, Isabella finally made her way through the front door.

She smiled as she saw Liam before explaining, "I met Madam Dawson and hung out with her for a bit before coming back."

"What did you all talk about?" Liam asked.

"I remembered that you wanted to look for a suitable husband for Paige. Madam Dawson recommended Mr. Campbell. He's old and limping, but a successful business owner that just lost his wife a few months ago.

" Campbell? Declan Campbell?"

"That's right! Do you know Declan?" Isabella pretended to be surprised even though Elizabeth had told her all about the rumours.

Declan was a rich businessman with a booming business. However, everyone knew that he was a fifty-year-old pervert limping around in one leg who had had four ex-wives that suffered in his torment.

Liam smirked, "I've heard the rumours, Declan would make a perfect husband for Paige indeed."

"I think so too! Should we ask Madam Dawson to get in touch with him soon?" Isabella asked eagerly.

"Yeah, we should arrange for them to meet as soon as possible," Liam grinned evilly.

A few days later, Paige would be married to the old disgusting pervert and the ownership of the company would be transferred to him.

He would finally get his revenge on Natalie who had cheated on him years ago.

Liam wrapped his hands around Isabella's waist, obviously in a good mood, "My plans are going well thanks to you!"

"Really? Don't I deserve a reward then?" Isabella flirted back.

Liam carried her in his arms, "I'll reward you in bed then!"

"No, I'm worried about our baby!" Isabella refused as she struggled to get off.

"It's fine isn't it? You've been pregnant for three months!"

"I'm still worried, though. Let's control ourselves a bit for him alright?"

Isabella tried to persuade Liam by using their child as an excuse. Hearing her pleas, Liam had no choice but to let her go with an upset expression on his face. Suddenly, a reddish mark on Isabella's neck caught his eye.

Liam grabbed Isabella's coat as his pupils dilated in anger, "What happened to your neck?"

Isabella pretended to be calm on the surface, but she was panicking inside. She reached for her neck carefully before asking, "What's wrong? Is there something on my neck?"

Liam's expression hardened as he continued to stare at the mark on Isabella's neck.

As a grown man, he knew clearly that the mark was a hickey. Had Isabella been cheating behind his back, and was that actually why she had been coming home late recently?

Liam's eyes burned with fury, "Where have you been? Answer me honestly!"

"I told you, I went for a walk and I met Madam Dawson along the way!"

"What's this mark then?"

"It's nothing. It's probably just an irritated mosquito bite," Isabella lied, "All insect bites will probably leave a mark on my sensitive skin anyways.

"I'm pretty sure insect bites don't look like this," Liam doubted.

Isabella was extremely tense, Liam had never paid any close attention to her, so why was he so observant today?

She picked up her phone as she tried to use her meeting with Elizabeth as an explanation, "Liam, are you doubting me? Madam Dawson can prove that we met this afternoon, go ahead and call her!"

Liam calmed down after seeing that Isabella didn't look guilty at all and she had even dared to phone Elizabeth to prove her innocence.

Isabella was a loyal wife, and she would never cheat on him. How could he have doubted his own wife in the first place?

Isabella was a middle-aged woman that did not have many friends. Besides, no man would approach her once they saw her pregnant tummy.

However, Liam was still suspicious as the mark on Isabella's neck looked a lot like a hickey but he decided to drop the subject and left the room.

Isabella heaved a sigh of relief as she watched Liam's retreating figure.

That was close!

If she hadn't met Elizabeth by coincidence tonight, Liam would have caught her cheating by now!

Meeting Elizabeth was really a blessing in disguise.
