Chapter 351

In the end, it was Liam's loss and Paige's win.

Hayden's people were played with, beaten up, and sent to the police station. They had suffered more than they had gained.

Isabella and Sophia had been waiting in the car outside of the police station, and they were both very anxious as they didn't know what was going on.

"Mom, things don't seem to be going well. Do we have to think of a backup plan?" Sophia asked.

"Let's wait a little longer. Paige is an amateur who doesn't know anything. Your dad has run the business for decades. I don't think that he will lose to her." Isabella didn't believe that he would lose.

"But you just saw that she brought so many people, and the police seemed to be biased to her. I feel that things are not going too well."

"Don't worry, we still have Hayden, right? I don't think she would mess with his people. He's Joseph's father, after all. She would be looking for death if she messed with them. If your father can't deal with her, Hayden will."

That was what she said, but the more time went by, the more anxious she became. She picked up the phone and sent a message, "Things don't look good. Liam hasn't come out yet. I think we have to change our plans."

"Let's wait and see. Don't panic!" Looking at Isabella texting on her phone, Sophia tilted her head and took a look. "Mom, who are you texting?"

"Just a friend. He knows better than I do. I'm asking him about the situation."

"Oh." Sophia did not think much about it.

They continued to wait anxiously for a long time. The uneasiness was palpable in the air.

Finally, someone came out. The first one to come out was Paige. She was in high spirits while Lamont and Micheal accompanied her.


Seeing the expression on her face, Sophia and Isabella looked at each other. "Mom, the situation is not good. Look at her face, do you think dad.."

Before she could finish her sentence, a limited edition Maybach car slowly drove towards the entrance. The door opened and Joseph got off with a bouquet of flowers in his arms.

He handed the flowers to Paige with a smile and said, "Congratulations, Miss Anderson, for becoming a full-fledged president!"

"Thank you, Mr. Dawson!" She smiled and took over the flowers. He pulled her into his arms and princess-carried her into the car as if no one were around them.

Michael gritted his teeth, "Where are your manners?"

Just after he finished his sentence, Joseph leaned his head out of the window and said, "We'll meet at the Wolf Group tonight! Let's get drunk!"

Michael smiled happily. "That's more like it. Did you tell Aiden yet?"

"Yes, I did! I'm leaving now!" As he said this, he waved to Lamont and Michael, and the car sped away.

Watching his car drive away, Lamont politely said goodbye to Michael, "Thank you very much for today, Michael. I'll go first. Goodbye!"

"There's no need to thank me. I'm just helping Joseph. It has nothing to do with anyone else." Michael also got into his car with a smile.

Seeing that all the people on Paige's side had left, Isabella and Sophia wanted to go down to check things out.

Liam finally appeared!

He left the police station with his head hanging low. Even though he was suffering inside, he still had to put up a positive attitude to speak to Hayden later.

The worst part was that he had to face Hayden's questioning. The depression and anger in his heart could no longer be explained with words.

Isabella and Sophia saw him come out, so they greeted him, "How did it go?"

Liam did not have extra energy to deal with them. Maybe it was because he was already in a bad mood to begin with, so he associated his current situation with them.

If Isabella hadn't seduced him, and if they hadn't said bad things about Paige to him, he wouldn't be so hot headed to go against Paige.

If he didn't go against her, then nothing would have happened.

Paige would still be the clueless yet obedient daughter. She would not have the slightest interest in managing the company, and he could continue to control the company until the end.

Liam's heart was full of resentment as he walked towards his car without saying a word.

Isabella and Sophia saw his expression and followed him in a hurry. Sophia took the initiative to open the door and asked him, "Dad are we in a tricky situation?"

"Shut the f*ck up!" Liam glared at her fiercely. He wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone right now. The first thing he had to do was to contact Hayden and apologize to him.
