Abbie and Paige left the hydrotherapy center in a good mood.

Abbie started the car and asked, "Where should we go now?"

"Send me home. I want to prepare dinner for Joseph tonight."

She rolled her eyes and said, "Can you stop showing off your love in front of me? You're torturing a single person like me to death!"

Since she put it that way, Paige was a little embarrassed. "Uh... I didn't mean to."

"I would beat you up if you did! Well, I'm a good friend, so I'lI take you to get groceries!"

"Aww! You're the best!" Paige sent her a flying kiss. Abbie exclaimed, "I finally know why Joseph gave in! Did you seduce him like this every day?"

At the Dawson Group, Joseph hung up Paige's call with a big smile on his face.

When Steven came in and saw his beaming expression, he asked confusedly, "Mr. Dawson, did something good happen to you?"

"Yepp! Of course!" Since he was in a good mood, he was less irritated by his secretary.

"What's the matter? Tell me now because I'm about to leave!"

"Leave? I'm afraid you can't. Sir Hayden has just notified us to attend an emergency meeting!"

"I'm not free." He did not take the emergency meeting seriously at all.

"Sir Joseph, it's not good for you to be absent... If Sir Hayden asks…"

"Tell him that I left a long time ago and that my phone is unreachable!" With that, he grabbed his jacket and left.


Steven anxiously followed him to the door and watched him stride into the elevator.

Paisley, who was next door, also came out after seeing Steven standing in the corridor.

When Joseph walked out of the Dawson Group's building, Bobby drove the car over.

He got into the car and said, "Let's go to the flower shop!"

As soon as Bobby started driving, Aiden called him. "Joseph, I just found out something bad. Your father and Lamont secretly met up with each other. Do you know their intentions?"

"Lamont and my father?" He was stunned for a moment. What did they meet up for?

Could it be that they were talking about him and Paige?

Hayden had been silent about it for a while, but it was also impossible for him to ignore them. Lamont didn't seem to like him, while Hayden didn't seem to favor Paige. If the two of them were to join forces to discuss how to separate him and Paige, it would be bad.

"Shh! Can't you say something more auspicious?" Bobby didn't dare to say anything after Joseph glared at him.
