Chapter 2

Lamont’s eyes flashed with hatred at Amelie’s plaintive query.

He hooked his finger, and two bodyguards lifted Amelie by her shoulders, took her to Draven’s tombstone, and pressed hard.

Her knees hit the ground heavily, making a dull sound.

Amelie was forced to kneel in front of Draven’s tombstone. No matter how hard she struggled, the hands on her shoulders did not move at all.

Lamont pressed her down in front of Draven’s tombstone, his voice low and hoarse.

“A sinner.”

Lamont’s voice filled with hatred caused Amelie’s heart to tremble, and the pain was tearing her apart.
