The Return of the Hidden Prince

Chapter 12 Just Slap Them

“Slap them? Wait, are you serious, Josh?” Asked Fatty, eyes wide open.

“Slap them!”Smiled Josh.

“Alright, buddy!” Fatty nearly jumped out of the seat, for there wouldn’t be anyone bullying the min the school from now on.

“Come on, Fatty, give this baby a try.” Josh parked the car and said to Fatty.

“Thank you, my man!” Shouted Fatty.

It was eleven pm already when they got to the school, Josh parked the car in a nearby parking car.

Meanwhile, Julia and Mei were in a taxi.

“Don’t you find it strange? Fatty told me that Josh’s literally a ghetto boy, he even took quite many part-time jobs in term breaks, how the hell did he get a Lamborghini?” Said Mei.

“And why would any wealthy man dress like that? But how do you explain the car, Mei?” Asked Julia.

“Wait...maybe he rented that damn car!” Shouted Mei as if she just solved a crime case.

Julia bought Mei’s words:”Damn that ghetto bastard! We’ll get back at him!”

The next day, Tiger was discharged from the hospital, he had been staying there since Josh stabbed him with a pen two days ago. He was welcome by his fellas at the gate of the school.

“Welcome back, Tiger!”

But Tiger looked raged and stern:”Where’s Josh? He has to pay for what he did to me!”

He still remembered the humiliation that day.

“Shall we beat the crap out of him, Tiger?” Asked a skinny boy of his fellas.

“No, I want the school to expel that bastard, ruin his life!”

“But how, Tiger?”

“The director of students affairs office is my dad’s friend, it won’t be hard for him to fire a ghetto boy from school!”

Then he headed straight to the office, and greeted the director as he entered:”Greetings, uncle Li.”

There was a fat mid-age man sitting on the chair, the director of the students affairs office.

“Tiger! Haven’ seen you for a while, how’s school?”

“Quite bad, uncle Li.” Said Tiger as he reveal his bandaged wound under the collar of his clothe.

“What...what happened, Tiger?”

“A boy in our class stabbed me here with a pen, right in the class when there were still many people around. You have to do something, uncle Li, expel him from out school!”

“That’s...intolerable! You got me, Tiger, what’s his name?”

“Josh Lin.”

“Get back to classes now, Tiger, I’ll kick that boy out of our school today!”

“Thank you, uncle Li!” Tiger laughed out of relief.

Tiger headed straight to Josh as he entered the classroom.

“Oh, Tiger? How may I help you? Putting you back in hospital for a few more days?” Said Josh, without lifting his eyes away form textbook.

It nearly got Tiger speechless for he hadn’t seen it coming that Josh could be still so haughty and calm, he shouted:”Be as pretentious as you want, Josh, this is going to be your last day in school anyway! Director Li of the students affairs office is my dad’s friend, and he had promised me that he’s going to expel you today! This is what you get from standing up against me, you scum!”

“Wow, expel me?” Josh smiled.

“You still have a chance, Josh: if you kneel down to me and apologize, and lick the dust away from my shoes, I can spare you some mercy and ask the director not to expel you, right here, right now!”

“Well, you still have a chance as well: apologize to me, right here, right now, or I’ll ruin your family business, you dad’s company.” Said Josh, still smiling.

“Just stop your daydreaming, Josh. Ruin my family business, you? A ghetto boy? Come on!” Sneered Tiger, though he was surprised that Josh didn’t even budge under his threat.

“Well, that’s a no to me then, now you’re riding on a highway to hell.” Said Josh as he shook his head.

“And this is a no to me as well! Enjoy your last day in school!” Said Tiger and left.

“Sure I will.” Uttered Josh, eyes fixed on the textbook still.

All the classmates started gossiping:”It’s true that Tiger had connection to that director! This may be really the last day of Josh in school.”

“Not may be, must be!”

“He’s a brave boy to have stand up against Tiger, but a ghetto boy just can’t to nothing more about it.”

Everyone was sure that Josh would be expelled except Fatty, for he had known who Josh really was last night.

Suddenly, Jane walked near Josh and said:”Let’s head to the office, Josh, I’ll tell the director that Tiger started the fight first!”

It flattered Josh that Jane would do this for him, but Jane was met with Tiger’s mocking:”You’re so naive, Jane! Who do you think you are? Well, try your best then, but you’ve got no connection, see? Connection!”

“Yeah, you’re a straight-A student, but what else do you have to talk the director out of his decision?” Tiger’s fellas sneered along.
