The Returning Ex

Sophia walked up to Logan with a smile. “With you here, I suppose it makes us a high-end shop.”

Chuckling, Logan didn’t stop working. “Why are you so late? I’ve been waiting for your arrival.”

Sophia stood beside him while saying, “I am late because I woke up late and spent some time lazing around.”

Logan regarded her in silence while she made herself a hamburger and some hot chocolate. After she had both, she sat down by the window. After Logan was finished with his task, he came over to her.

“I asked Lorraine about Ian, and she told me that he wouldn’t have a problem making his debut, while his ranking indicates that he would probably make it to the top three.”

What Logan told her reminded Sophia of the fact that Ian called her last night, so she asked, “Did you tell him about what happened between John and me?”
