Chapter 102: Possessiveness

Scarlett’s POV

The silence that followed was heavy, suffocating—but it didn’t last.

The air began to vibrate as their voices flooded my mind, a chaotic tangle of mind-links that made my head throb.

’I am your mate, Scarlett,’ Liam’s voice boomed, strong and possessive. ’You have to choose me.’

’Scar... no one can love you more than I do,’ Leo’s voice cut through, softer, desperate. ’Don’t listen to him. I’m your mate. I’m the one who truly cares.’

’Choose me,’ Leon growled through the link, the memory of his touch in the library still burning on my skin. ’You know your body already belongs to me. I’m your mate.’

I looked at them, my heart heavy with a mixture of anger and disbelief. Each of them was so foolish. So arrogant. They were all hiding behind the privacy of the mind-link, claiming me in the shadows but lacking the backbone to say the words out loud in front of their brothers. If they truly believed they were my mates, why weren’t they brave enough to stand up and claim me for the world to see?

Liam’s patience snapped. "Choose!" he yelled, his voice echoing off the walls.

"Stop yelling at her!" Leo shot back, stepping toward Liam.
