Although he had been bragging to other people about his annual income of ten million yuan, that was actually the net income of the company. After splitting it among the major shareholders and business partners, he only made about two million. Zhang Hu’s request for half a million yuan made him extremely distressed.

“God dammit, don’t you know where you are?” said Zhang Hu as he gave Xia Hui a slap to the head. He continued to scold him, “This bar is Young Master Tang’s business, and you have the guts to ask me to shed blood in his turf. If Young Master Tang finds out about this, what do you think will happen to me? According to the rules of the underworld, I’ll have to stab myself thrice if I’m caught taking money from someone else. That means the death of me. Do you understand?!”

“Yes, yes, yes, I understand, Brother Hu. Here’s another 200 thousand.”

Xia Hui had almost wet his pants. He kept nodding his head and screaming.

The “Young Master Tang” Zhang Hu mentioned was the eldest son of the Tang family. He was not one to be trifled with.

“Give me that unlucky bugger’s name and photo, then get lost. Leave the rest to me,”Zhang Hu said impatiently.

“His name is Chu Feng. Thank you, Brother Hu, and I’m so sorry to bother you.” Xia Hui sent him the photo he had secretly taken and fled out of the office, which made the other men laugh.

“What a useless person,” said Zhang Hu as he chuckled coldly. He lazily stretched and grabbed his phone to take a look at the photo of Chu Feng, then said, “Let’s make some money, brothers.”

Zhang Hu’s underlings lazily tossed their cigarettes away with disapproving expressions. In their eyes, they thought Xia Hui’s opponent would be as wimpy as him. All they needed to do was cripple some unlucky guy, and they would have 500 thousand yuan in the bank. It was as easy as picking up money from the floor.

In less than ten minutes after they left Zhang Hu’s office, a cool and trendy looking Lamborghini parked in the parking spot reserved for the bar. Following that, a group of executives rushed out to personally greet it.

“Young Master Tang, what brings you here today to personally inspect the bar? You did not even inform us beforehand. We could have made preparations,” The general manager of the bar said nervously.

A cool and stylish young man came out of the Lamborghini, though he had a cast on his right hand. It was Tang Hao, the eldest young master of the Tang family and the owner of the bar.

“There’s no need for that, I was grounded by my grandfather for half a month, and I’ve been extremely bored, so I came over to have some fresh air and a bit of fun,” said Tang Hao with a sigh as he showed his arm impatiently.

He felt extremely dejected. Who knew that Chu Feng turned out to be his grandfather’s savior? He should have known better than pick a fight with that man.

Not only did his grandfather ground him for half a month, but he had also injured an arm. He regretted what he did, and the mere mention of the name “Chu Feng” made him shudder.

“How’s business ot the bor? Nothing much hoppened, right?” he osked.

The generol monoger pondered for o moment ond soid in o low voice, “Young Moster Tong, Zhong Hu ond his group of thugs hove been going overboord lotely. He would toke money from other people ond beot up our customers. In serious coses, they would breok their torgets’ orms ond legs. Mony people hove comploined obout them.”

“This hos been hoppening?” soid Tong Hoo os he frowned ond snorted ongrily. “Thot scum Zhong Hu hos been living off us, but he tokes money from other people behind our bocks. I’ll deol with him sooner or loter.”

Even though he soid so, he hod no intention of corrying out his promise. The bor wos simply o minor distroction, ond he could not be bothered to hove his fun interrupted.

The generol monoger nodded ond soid, “Yes. Eorlier, he received o hit on o person colled Chu Feng, ond he took one of our girls. Whot o mess.”
