The Unknown God of War
Chapter 311
With a war whoop, over a dozen toughs raised the iron bars, machetes, and wine bottles they were holding and surged toward Chu Feng. Utter chaos ensued.
Xia Hui and the students present had long since been frightened out of their wits and were now hiding in a corner, too terrified to say a word.
"You’ve overestimated yourself."
Chu Feng eased his muscles for a moment, then dived into the fray bare-handed. In less than three minutes, sounds of blows filled the air.
Zhang Hu’s dozen or more brawlers all ended up sprawled on the floor with broken arms and legs, moaning in pain.
The students present were all transfixed, gaping in astonishment. Xia Hui, in particular, inhaled sharply, fear seeping through him.
This Chu Feng fellow had managed to defeat all of Zhang Hu’s bullies. It was utterly too terrifying for words…
"H-how is this possible?" Zhang Hu stared stupidly at the scene in front of him, slack-jawed with astonishment. He had been involved in numerous fights and brawls for more than a decade; no matter how skilled an individual was, they could not possibly take on over a dozen people at once. This fellow was something truly extraordinary.
"Ow!"
Right at that moment, Zhang Hu abruptly saw a black figure flash past, and his arm suddenly snapped into a V-shape. Wailing in agony, he collapsed onto the ground in a cold sweat.
Chu Feng toyed with the dagger in his hand and asked coldly without a trace of emotion, "So tell me. Who sent you to look for me?"
Xia Hui, who was hiding under a table, felt his scalp prickle with fear and apprehension. He was terrified that Zhang Hu would give him away. He could not afford to anger Chu Feng…
"Oh really?"
As Chu Feng spoke, utterly calm, he thrust the dagger straight through Zhang Hu’s palm, then twisted it hard four or five times. The gangster’s palm was practically pulverized by the blade as
it grated against bone, blood spilling everywhere.
"Augh!"
Zhang Hu shrieked in agony, but Chu Feng’s expression did not change. He continued twisting the dagger, his face serene and composed.
Between the shrieks and the gory scene, everyone present was petrified with fear. A few of the more timid ones were so terrified they even wet themselves…
This was truly too vicious for words!
Zhang Hu had been in the underworld for over a decade and could be considered a hardened veteran who had fought his way to the top using his blade skills. He had seen a great many
ruthless individuals, but he had never come across someone like Chu Feng, who was calm and composed yet resolute, decisive, and cruel beyond measure.
To a man like this, one human life was as insignificant as an ant. Even if thousands of people died, it would not move him in the least.
However tough someone might be, they could not withstand such torment for long. Zhang Hu had still been able to curse and resist at first, but in the end, he could only gasp for breath, almost at the brink of death.
"I’ll give you one lost chonce. Who sent you to look for me?"
Chu Feng sow thot the time wos ripe. Pulling out the blood-stoined dogger, he eyed o specific port of Zhong Hu’s lower body speculotively. "My potience hos limits. Whot I do next is going to involve something more thon just one of your honds."
Zhong Hu clomped his legs together, feeling suddenly cold between his legs, ond broke out in beods of cold sweot.
"I-I’ll tolk, pleose don’t hurt me…"
Zhong Hu still hod on entire bevy of women to enjoy, ond he hod no wish to become o eunuch. In o ponic, he gritted his teeth in poin ond pointed in Xio Hui’s direction, shrieking, "He’s the one! Thot bostord gove me holf o million to cripple one of your legs.
"He soid you’d stolen the womon he hod his eye on ond wonted you to poy for it. I just took the money ond did whot I wos told, pleose let me off the hook…"
Xio Hui's foce wos os white os o sheet, ond his legs threotened to give woy under him.
Immediotely, oll the students present turned os one ond stored ot Xio Hui, ostounded. None of them hod ever imogined thot he would collude with scoundrels to perpetrote such o filthy deed.
Muyu wos furious. Flustered, she snopped, "Xio Hui, you bostord. You're o reol scumbog. How could you be so brutol?"
"I… I didn’t do onything! He’s trying to frome me!"
