"Wu Yi, you despicable ingrate! We've helped you in the past, and is this how you treat us in return?" Tang Feng pointed a finger at the fat man and yelled angrily. "If our family hadn't helped you, your entire family of seven would have starved to death! Who were the ones who got your family back on your feet? Now, you're the Fang family's lapdog and stabbing our backs. If I had known this would happen, we shouldn't have helped you!"

Wu Yi was indeed a materialistic bootlicker.

The Wu family used to serve the Tang family. Wu Yi did nothing but follow Tang Weiguo all day and shower flattery upon him just to show how loyal he was. However, when the Tang family was met with a crisis, Wu Yi was the first to turn tail and ally with the Fang family.

"Nonsense! I was the one who brought glory and prosperity to the Fang family. What does it have anything to do with you?" Wu Yi felt no shame when faced with Tang Feng's accusation. Instead, he lifted his chin smugly.

"If I owe anyone a debt of gratitude, it would have to be the Fang family. Young Master Fang has done so much for us, and I owe my life to him!" Wu Yi said. If he had a tail, he would be wagging it too.

"You ingrate!" Tang Weiguo pointed a trembling finger at Wu Yi and yelled, "Back when we trekked across the snowy plains, your father would have died if I hadn't shared half of my pie with him! I don't understand how he would give birth to a bootlicker like you!"

"That's enough, Tang Weiguo. When are you going to stop mentioning that?" Wu Yi frowned and said impatiently. "You've been harping on the same d*mn thing for the past forty years. It's just half a stale pie, isn't it? I'll return it to you then. I brought you two hundred pies today. That should be enough for you to bring to your grave, you old geezer! Hahaha…"

Wu Yi waved his hand, and his servants dumped two huge containers of pies onto the lawn.

That was a brazen act of provocation. In any case, Wu Yi did not mind burning that bridge. The Tang family was already in trouble anyway.

Tang Weiguo was furious. He leaped up and yelled, "I'll teach you a lesson on behalf of your father! I'll beat you to death!"

Looking at the chaotic scene, Fang Zhong grew increasingly impatient. He yelled out, "That's enough, Old Master Tang. I've been here for three days. I don't care what you think, but Tang Sisi will be following me home today. She will be my wife!"

Tang Sisi frowned angrily. "Pah, in your dreams. I'd rather die than marry you!"

"Heheh, that's not up to you to decide." Fang Zhong chuckled coldly. His patience had run out, and he waved his hand. "Sound the fanfare, brothers. We're taking my bride home!"

About a hundred people behind him stood up all at once. It was an intimidating sight.

With another wave of his hand, a marching band behind Fang Zhong began to perform the wedding march. Confetti rained from the sky, and the Tang residence garden became a total mess.
