Chapter 30 Christopher Carter

Christopher Carter soon arrived at Anthony's suite. He was an odd-looking old man.He was thin and tall, with narrow eyes and a hooked nose.

Every time Jack saw Christopher, he felt that this ugly old man looked more like a villain from a superhero movie than a leading authority in the medical community.

Christopher smiled a lot, but his smile usually only made him look weirder, as if he was planning something evil.

"Ha-ha, Anthony, it's rare enough for you to call me over.I didn't expect the patient to be a young girl this time. What, are you finally planning to get married?"

Christopher teased as he strode into the VIP suite, led by Jack.

Then, looking at the man seated in the wheelchair, he burst into laughter and continued, "Why are you still sitting there? Do you want to pretend to be disabled in front of me? There is no need."

Anthony was holding a phone and staring off into space, immersed in his own thoughts. It was not until he heard Christopher's voice that he came to his senses.

As he stood up to greet his guest, he gently put the phone down next to Maria's pillow. It was Maria's phone, which had fallen out of her pocket when she fainted.

"Mr.Carter, she fainted all of a sudden. Please check if she is okay," Anthony said politely.
