“Just give me today, I’ll start working tomorrow.” He opened his mouth to say something, but he just shut it when Nadia’s voice erupted in the air.

She was yelling my name, but it was with excitement that I didn’t budge from my seat. There was nothing to be worried about. And I was guessing, by the sounds of small footsteps echoing, that she was running down the stairs.
