After a while, Nita spoke.

"Well, don't get your arms wet, don't apply force on them. You should know these notes better than me. I don't need to tell you again." After packing up the things, Nita stood up and was about to leave. However, when she just turned around, her hand was grabbed by someone.

Her heart sank, and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Anything else?" Nita said in a cold voice. She didn't want him to find anything wrong with her.

"Thank you." His hoarse voice indicated that he was exhausted.

Nita clenched her teeth, trying to hold back her cry.

She suddenly withdrew her hand, and pulled Lawrence's injured arm with too much force. He couldn't help but groan in pain, which made Nita's heart clench immediately.

She wanted to turn around to see if his wound was torn again, but finally, she resisted it and left without looking back.

She knew that he didn't belong to her.

Even though he knew she loved him, he still pretended not to see it. In his heart, Jessie was more important than anything.
