True Love in Remarriage
Chapter 9 Do you still care about me?
She laughed, but her laughter was sad: "Sean, I thought you didn't care about my any stuff. Maybe I should ask you now, do you still care about me?"
Sean didn't answer. His lips tightened.
May felt upset, but she didn't say anything and turned upstairs.
Maybe because she was sitting in cold water for a while, May had a low fever this night. She had been dreaming of nightmares during her sleep. Her dream scene started from meeting with Sean to that she could only watch him in silence for other women's love. Later, they finally got together and got married. The final scene was at their wedding.
Sean's face was tired, but his eyes were full of hate. He asked her coldly: "You promise me again, have you ever done anything bad to me?"
She clenched her hands and shook her head ruthlessly.
Sean's look was decadent: "Well, as you wish."
The hatred in his expression was repeated once again in her dream, and May finally awakened.
May sat up, holding her quilt and breathing heavily. When she looked at the desk clock, it was four in the morning, but she couldn't fall asleep anymore.
When she got up the next morning, there was a dense layer of cyan under her eyes. She used a very thick foundation to cover it barely.
Downstairs, Sean was sitting beside the dining table for breakfast. Jean was talking to him. The mother was trying to persuade her son to go home early since his wife was alone at home.
As usual, Sean would interrupt Jean impatiently, but today he abnormally obeyed his mother. Even after seeing May on the stairs, he responded, "Yeah, I got it."
Jean was pleased, and when she turned around, she saw May standing. She quickly waved at her with a smile, "May, come down for breakfast." She thought her son would treat his wife better from today.
May's face was ashen: "Mom, I don't have breakfast at home today." She didn't wait for Jean to put up with questions, walked directly towards the outside of the villa.
Jean glared at Sean: "It's all your faults. If you weren't always mean to her, she wouldn't be such angry. You have to treat her well from now on. Otherwise, you go out of this house."
Sean looked at May's stubborn back. His eyes rose inexplicably in an instant.
...
The news that Huo's Group successfully took over the design draft of the Chu's Sunny Bay project last night was quickly spread in the company. May Song, as the hero and the designer, was naturally praised.
Early in the morning, May was somewhat listless. She bought some antipyretics on the way and came asleep after eating. But thinking of the preliminary draft of the design draft, she still got up and processed it.
Calculating the data in a specific place, a bunch of files dropped on her table.
