Chapter 19 Amazing Medical Skills
Kent forcibly supported Julian into the guest room.
However, Julian stretched out his hand to push Kent away.
Kent came forward again and helped Julian into the guest room.
Smelling the fragrance of her body, Julian subconsciously leaned toward Annalise.
Immediately, Kent helped him up.
The two sent Julian into the guest room together.
“Anna, I think Julian is drunk. Go and make him a glass of honey water.” Kent wanted to
get Annalise to leave. With what consciousness he had left, Julian reached out and
grabbed Annalise’s wrist, not letting her go.
Annalise said to Kent, “Uncle Kent, could you get Mary to make it?”
“All right.” Kent’s eyes glinted.
He thought, “I can get Abbie to send the honey water into the room, then think of a way
to get rid of Annalise. I’m sure Annalise wants the shares that her mother left her.”
After Kent left the room, Annalise locked the door straight away.
“Lie down!” Annalise barked.
Julian immediately did as told.
Annalise touched Julian’s wrist with her fingers to check his pulse.
As their skin grazed each other, Julian grabbed Annalise’s wrist and pulled her into his
embrace.
Annalise fell into Julian’s arms, her tips touching his because of the impact.
Suddenly, Julian hissed in pain.
Annalise had inserted a silver needle into him.
She had only agreed to let Kent send Julian into the guest room because of the silver
needles she had always carried with her.
Otherwise, she would have driven Julian to the hospital when he had passed her the
keys just now.
While he was still in pain, Annalise inserted two more silver needles into the back of his
hand. There are many capillaries on the back of a hand, and the pain could keep Julian
awake.

Indeed, his burning eyes regained a moment of clarity shortly after.
Seeing that Julian was awake, Annalise said, “I’m just helping you with the poison.
Don’t overthink it.”
She then quickly unbuckled his belt.
She was terrible at it, as she had never done it before.
Once she was done, her face and ears flushed red.
Nevertheless, she could not care less about the situation. Decisively and skillfully, she
inserted another needle into Julian’s acupoints.
Her actions were smooth. After inserting the needle, she quickly twisted it and it
vibrated slightly.
In only a few seconds, she had inserted about eight needles into Julian’s acupoints.
If someone were to spectate the situation, they would know that she was a professional
in acupuncture who was on par with traditional medicine practitioners who had decades
of experience.
“Take a deep breath!” said Annalise sternly.
Julian followed Annalise’s instructions.
Sure enough, he could think better after taking a deep breath.
However, a while later, the effects of the drug kicked in again.
Julian grabbed onto Annalise’s wrist, but Annalise quickly dodged it and pierced him
with another needle.
Noticing the change in Julian’s expression, Annalise raised a hand, wanting to hit the
back of his neck. Immediately, Julian tilted his head and dodged the attack.
As he avoided her, Annalise quickly and accurately inserted a few more needles into his
acupoints, causing him to yelp in pain.
Annalise did not stop there and inserted more needles.
Only after inserting more than 20 needles into his body did Annalise stop.
“Bear with it!” said Annalise.
“S-Stop talking!” Julian said through gritted teeth.
Right now, he could not stand listening to her voice. If he did, all their hard work would
go to waste.
Annalise looked at Julian and kept quiet. After that, she stood up and went to the
bathroom. She grabbed a towel, soaked it, and placed it on Julian’s forehead to help
lower his temperature.
Julian continued to take deep breaths.
Every time he did it, he would feel better and more clear-headed.
Annalise raised her head and looked at the clock on the wall. She thought, “It’s been
three minutes since I inserted the needles. These acupoints have miraculous effects on
getting rid of the poison. Barring accidents, Julian will be fine in ten minutes.”
Right then, Annalise heard the sound of someone twisting the doorknob.
Realizing that Annalise had locked the door, Kent shouted anxiously, “Anna, open the
door!”
He had already prepared the honey water and called Abigail to come over.
“Anna, open the door. I can help take care of Julian,” yelled Abigail, who was also at the
door.
She had wanted to check on Julian’s condition immediately. After all, she was worried
about Julian and Annalise being together in a room. However, Alexander had stopped
her and had a word with her.
She did not expect Annalise to lock the door.
“Anna, open the door!” Kent shouted again.
Annalise narrowed her eyes. She looked toward the door, then at the clock on the wall.
“If I let them in now, Julian will look bad in front of them. I’ll let them wait for another few
minutes,” she mused,
