CHAPTER 1191 A DIFFERENT ENDING

Thomas regained his composure and cleared his throat lightly before saying, "Your movie set to be released has been bought out by Mr. Wickam. I assume you already know this?"

Director Moen was startled. "I don't. I've been out all day at a dinner party. So, you're saying that Mr. Wickam has seen the movie?"

"Yes," Thomas said, gradually getting to the point. He didn't want to be too blunt, worried the director might get overwhelmed.

Director Moen was a well-known figure in the industry, with a sharp mind and a keen eye for detail. All his works were considered classics, and he was known for his dedication and commitment.

But now...

If Gareth suddenly demanded a change in the ending, it could result in more criticism of the movie. This could hurt the film's reputation. However, the director might not have a choice but to comply with his request. After all, no one dared to offend Gareth.

Of course, if Gareth were to ask him to change the ending, it would not be a mere alteration. But, it would mean that the director's career was secured with benefits, such as investment in every film and TV show in the future.

"So..." Director Moen was unsure of what to say. His eyes portrayed a mix of complex emotions. "What does Mr. Wickam think of it after watching the movie?"

Since the movie was now the topic of conversation, there had to be something amiss with it, and Gareth had a bone to pick. But he didn't really know why Gareth suddenly came to him because of this.

Thomas said hesitantly, "Mr. Wickam thinks the ending needed improvement."

Director Moen's eyes twitched, and his breathing became short, "You mean..."

He now had a vague idea of what was happening but found it difficult to accept, just as Thomas deduced.

Thomas cleared his throat, "Mr. Wickam suggests changing the ending."

Director Moen was momentarily speechless, unable to keep up with the conversation. He started coughing uncontrollably.

Thomas fell silent, waiting for the director to recover. He didn't say anything to console him, as it was something that the director would need to process on his own. There was little that Thomas could do to help.
