“Sir,” one of the paramedics stopped his advances. “You’re not allowed to get near to the patient, we’ll take it from here.”
Tyler knows that, he knows, but for some reason, his words set rage in his heart. He glared at the guy and almost pushed him aside. “I’ll accompany you to the hospital. Let me in in the ambulance.”
The other looked at him strangely before looking behind him over his shoulder. Out of almost 200 people in the hotel, 3 died- which are the security guards manning the doors and doing patrols- and one injured. The injured lady is currently being escorted by paramedics on a stretcher. Her condition is not looking good since she lost too much blood, they have to perform blood transfusion as soon as possible. He looked back at the man who was insisting on getting on the ambulance and asked, “What is your relation to the patient, sir?”
This made Tyler paused and his kind almost lost its function. That’s right, who is he to Althea? How are they related? Lovers? Ex-lovers? Friends? Colleagues?
No matter how he looks at it, the closest one is the colleagues since they were business partners, still, it’s not enough to gain the permission. The paramedic looked at him and sighed, “If it’s already clear to you, please obey. You can still visit her in the hospital after the operation. We can't delay any more longer, the more time we consume from idling, the more dangerous it is for the patient. Thank you very much for understanding.”
With that, he turned around and left.
