Nigel sighed and patted George's shoulder, saying, "George, kids follow their parents... If you switch environments for him and teach him now, he should be able to return to the right track."

After speaking, he turned and walked out.

"Uncle, how am I selfish, narrow-minded, mean, and unreasonable? Explain so I can understand!" Stephen chased after him angrily.

Nigel walked to the door and happened to meet Ethan, who had come back from sending Michael and Crystal off.

Seeing Stephen frantically yelling at Nigel, Ethan almost wanted to slap him. "Stephen Taylor, haven't you had enough?"

"Uncle..."

Ethan wanted to send Nigel off, but the latter waved him off. "Don't worry about it. Go and comfort your father and discipline your brother well. Work is important, but family is more important. It's scarier to have a useless teammate than to have a genius teammate."

After those words, he left without looking back.

Stephen held back and did not utter a word, but his face was flushed with anger as he panted heavily.

Ethan was enraged as he pushed him back into the room and scolded him angrily, "First, you infuriated Aunt Crystal and Uncle Michael, and now you've angered Uncle Nigel? What are you trying to do? Are you going to offend everyone and be a loner?"

"I don't care if I become a loner!" Stephen threw his hands in anger. "They're just villains who bully the weak and fear the tough! They're afraid because the Harts are powerful, so..."

A crisp smack sounded, and a loud slap interrupted his words.

George landed a palm on his cheeks and looked at him coldly. "Go on. What happened to them?"

Stephen covered his face in dissatisfaction. "Dad, I'm telling the truth. We are a family. Why don't they help Mom? If something happens to them, we will definitely help them!"


"They won't do such a thing," George uttered coldly.

"Because our family doesn't have despicable and shameless villains like Scott and Holly!"

"Dad, how could you call Mom a despicable and shameless villain?" Stephen's eyes widened in disbelief. "She is your wife and our mother!"

"Am I wrong?" George asked coldly, "Isn't she a despicable and shameless villain?"

"She is definitely not!" Stephen argued stubbornly.

"She must have been wronged by them. She doesn't know anything."

George looked at him, and a surge of intense disappointment and exhaustion suddenly crept into his mind.
Nigel sighed and patted George's shoulder, saying, "George, kids follow their parents... If you switch environments for him and teach him now, he should be able to return to the right track."

Crystal and Nigel's words rang in his ears, "Discipline Stephen, or he'll be like Holly..."

Shutting his eyes and reopening them after a while, George glanced at Ethan and Stephen before deciding, "I will divorce Holly..."

"I don't agree!" Stephen was riled up as he roared, "Mom must be innocent. Dad, don't you know how much she loves you? You can't divorce her!"

George glanced at him and sneered, "Okay... Even if you are right and your mother is innocent, I also have the right to divorce your mother. No law stipulates that I need your consent to divorce your mother, so I'm just notifying you, not asking for your opinion."

"Dad, you can't do this!" Stephen scolded, "You are afraid of the Hart Family, aren't you? You want to sacrifice your wife in return for the Hart Family's forgiveness. If you do this, you're being shameless! Shame on you! I despise you!"

"Shut up!" Ethan scolded, "Who are you to talk to Dad so rudely? Stephen, apologize!"

Ethan wanted to say something, but George waved his hand to stop him. "Ethan, enough."

With a headache, Ethan comforted his father, "Dad, don't bother him. He just has a bad temper, but I will persuade him later."

"It's fine." George looked at Stephen and stated, "I have decided to divorce your mother. If you feel ashamed of me, you may leave the Taylor Family with your mother and take her last name. Do it first thing tomorrow so that you don't have to worry that our family will be a disgrace to you."

"W-What?" Stephen was stunned.

He was completely dumbfounded.

He had just hoped that his father could defend his mother, protect her, and not get a divorce. Never did he think of leaving the Taylor Family.

His already flushed face was now devoid of color as he stammered, "Dad, I-I didn't mean that..."

"What do you mean then?" George stared at him and questioned blankly, "Didn't you say that I'm shameless? Didn't you feel ashamed to have a father like me? In that case, I will divorce your mother. You shall follow your mother, who has made you proud, and stay away from a father who made you feel ashamed!"
