Philip looked at Emma while frowning silently.

Meanwhile, Sebastian chuckled. "Mrs. Emma, do you know how uncomfortable I was after drinking that cup of drugged coffee? I always thought you loved me. However, I learned today that I am not important in your eyes. After being hurt by someone, you thought it is right to let the culprit go after a few reprimands." He grinned and looked at Emma. "Isn't that so, Mrs. Emma?"

"Of course not!" Emma was dissatisfied with Sebastian's attitude, but she still looked graceful and gentle. "Seb, you are my only nephew, so of course I love you. However, didn't Philip punish Ann enough? To disown her is a severe punishment for her. Although she bought illegal drugs, it is not lethal. Even if you report it to the police, she will only be detained for half a month, but the damage to Ann's reputation will never be undone. Ann is your cousin who grew up with you. You don't have to be so cruel to her. Don't you think so, Seb?"

"No, I don't. Unless…" Sebastian then continued with a faint smile, "Unless you cut ties with the Hart Family too. You and Ann are one. If you're still my aunt, Ann will still be able to take advantage of the Hart Family as your daughter!"

Emma's expression darkened at that, and she couldn't maintain her gentleness and gracefulness any longer. In the end, she said sharply, "Sebastian, pay attention to your words. I am your aunt!"

"Yes, you are my aunt. That's all." Sebastian's light smile turned cold. "My dear aunt, you have put a lot of effort into helping Ann drug me. I didn't involve you because I tried to be a good nephew. However, you pleaded for the culprit who hurt me, which means I am not as important as your daughter, hmm?"

Sebastian emphasized the word aunt. His gaze on Emma was sharper than ever.

Emma was horrified as she looked into his eyes.

She always thought the relationship between her and Sebastian was excellent. She always showed care and patience to Sebastian and took care of him. She never neglected him.

She thought she had his approval long ago. Moreover, she felt the person he respected the most was her, besides Philip.

Emma didn't expect Sebastian to hate her just because she helped Ann to drug him. Then, he quickly got angry and forgot all about Emma.

After all, Sebastian couldn't be sure if Emma helped Ann last night.

That's right. No one knows I helped Ann last night. I can't admit it!

Emma stood up abruptly with tears, looking as if she was thoroughly wronged. Tearfully, she said, "Seb, you can't say these things to me! Ann was not in her right mind. I am angry about her actions too. However, I swear I didn't know anything about her plan! I would have immediately stopped her from doing such a stupid thing if I knew! Seb, I always loved you. How can you doubt me? It seems like my love for you has gone down the drain. Y-You're making me sad!"

Sebastian smiled lightly at that. "Mrs. Emma. Although I have no evidence, I recalled what you said and did when I was drugged. I am sure you knew about it. As you're my mom's little sister, I don't plan to sue you, so I don't have to look for evidence. It's enough that I know the truth."

"Seb, you're making me sad!" Emma choked as tears welled up. "You are the only child of my sister and Philip, and you are my only nephew. I love you as my own son; how could I hurt you? How can you doubt me? Philip, just look at him!" Emma then looked at Philip aggrievedly.

She unconsciously used a coquettish tone.

She was no longer young, and Philip was in his old age. However, Philip was still the young master of the Hart Family she wished for.

In her eyes, Philip was still the handsome man from back then.

Not to mention that although Philip was old, he was handsome and charismatic in his own way.

He was the only man she had ever loved. Although they could not be together, she still loved him the whole time.

In Emma's eyes, Philip was still young, and she was still beautiful and charming.

She was accustomed to speaking to him in this tone. Philip was used to her behavior and didn't think anything was wrong. He thought she had never given birth to a child, so she still acted like a teenager even though she was middle-aged. Now, however, he didn't have the patience to coax her as before.

In the end, Sebastian was his limit. He would never allow anyone to hurt Sebastian.

Philip trusted Sebastian's judgment.

If Sebastian said Emma knew about Ann's plan of drugging him, then it must be true.

As such, Philip was disappointed with Emma.

Before his wife passed away, she entrusted Emma, Ann, and several children to Philip. She wanted Philip to take good care of them, so he agreed.

Over the years, he had been kind to Emma and Ann. With his protection, Emma could live wholeheartedly.

Emma never gave birth. However, her husband had an illegitimate child, which was why he wanted to divorce Emma to make the illegitimate child a legitimate one.

Emma had not given birth because her husband was infertile.
