Madeline was touched when she heard Sebastian's words. After all, she had been hanging in there all by herself over the years without anyone ever sharing her burden. Therefore, she instantly felt as if she was no longer fighting alone because her children's father would stand by her side and share her responsibility from that moment on.

"Thank you so much." She then added, "I can't express how grateful and fortunate we are to have you in our life…" Deep down, she was aware of how indispensable a father figure was to her sons. No matter how much she loved them, there was nothing she could do to compensate for that.

As such, she considered herself very lucky that Joel and Quincy's father was a tough and responsible man like Sebastian, not to mention his love for the kids and his willingness to raise them with her. Thank God that my sons' father is Sebastian, who is strong and responsible. This must be the luckiest thing that has happened to me ever since I gave birth to the boys.

Sebastian patted Madeline's shoulder, assuring her that he would have her back. "Don't worry, and just let me worry about everything. I promise I'm going to take good care of you and the kids."

"Alright." Madeline reacted with an affirmative hum. "By the way…" She went on to tell Sebastian about what she heard from the prison warden. "Based on my understanding of Isabel, I think she's telling the truth."

"Angie?" Sebastian chuckled coldly and nodded. "Great!" Although he was prompted by the law to put Isabel behind bars, he was unhappy that he didn't stand a chance to have his revenge until he saw an opportunity after hearing about Angie.

That scheming lady dusted her hands off after her evil plan succeeded, thinking she had nothing to worry about after she threw Isabel under the bus. She must be proud of how smart she is, but I'd like to see how cocky she gets about that. I'm going to have her punished even if the law fails to bring her to justice. Hmph! Underestimating me is going to be her biggest mistake.

Deep down, Sebastian was confident that he could have Angie killed without getting his hands dirty to return the wicked woman the favor she did by abetting Isabel to kill his wife and children.

You'd be a fool if you think you can get away with it after what you've done, Angie! It's time to shatter your sweet dream! The man then reached for his cell phone and called Eternal. "I want to know everything about Angie, including her latest status. Compile your findings into a file and send them to me."

Meanwhile, Sam visited a famous nightclub in Dusktown to meet up with Angie. In fact, he had been searching for Angie's whereabouts as soon as he left the detention center. Deep down, he had no idea why he wanted to see Angie so badly, thinking it was either because he was too desperate to clear his mind by strolling around town or too eager to seek an answer from the lady herself.

Therefore, when he left the detention center, he only had one thing in mind, which was to talk to Angie. After pulling many strings, he eventually managed to find out about Angie's whereabouts and went to meet her in a private lounge at the nightclub. However, when he saw her, he was surprised to see how well off Angie appeared to be after what happened recently.

At that moment, Angie was with a number of young people in the lounge filled with excited cheers and a noisy ambience. While some of them were playing poker cards, the others were singing and drinking, scampering crazily on the dance floor.

In the meantime, Angie appeared to be leaning on the couch, wearing a decent outfit with beautiful makeup on her face. At the same time, she was holding a glass of liquor, her eyes looking everywhere in a sluggish manner as she smiled ambiguously, unlike what Sam thought he would see. When the man walked up to Angie, she became surprised as soon as she made out his face. "Sam?"

"Let's talk," Sam said.

"Right here?" Angie smiled and asked.

"Let's find somewhere else with a little more privacy." Sam added, "Follow me to the lounge I reserved earlier."

Angie had no objections, thinking she should be submissive to gain Sam's favor. After all, she didn't want to offend Sam because she liked him for his decency and chivalry. Furthermore, Sam was rich and powerful, so Angie thought she could benefit from his influence. Thus, she stood up and followed Sam out of the door.

Soon, someone among the crowd noticed Sam's presence and started whistling. "Who is this handsome guy, Angie? Care to introduce him to us?"

Nevertheless, Angie looked back at them with a smile. "This is my brother, and he is an introverted man, which is why I didn't introduce him to you guys." She curled her lips upward seductively, hiding her arrogance beneath her charming smile while jutting her chin slightly.

After all, Sam was good-looking as his decent outfit indicated his wealthy family background. Noticing that the other women couldn’t take their eyes off Sam, Angie could tell that they were envious of her for knowing someone as outstanding as the man.

Nevertheless, she was gleeful deep down, thinking they would never stand a chance to get close to Sam. At the thought of that, she continued to smile seductively and walked out the door with Sam to the lounge he had reserved.
