You, Me And Our Genus Twins
Chapter 332
The bodyguard dragged Angie out of the house and threw her to the ground.
When she finally gathered herself to spring up and hurry to the door, it had already been closed right before her eyes.
She desperately slammed the door, shouting, "Open the door! You have no right to force me out of my house!"
Billy gave her a chilly stare through the iron gate and instructed his assistant, "This house was once occupied by a disgusting woman and has become filthy. Find a buyer immediately and sell it."
Angie could never live here again if he sold this house.
His assistant responded and instantly took out his phone to make a call to the real estate agent.
"Billy, you can't do this. I'm your father's wife, and this is my house. You have no right to throw me out!" Angie cried hysterically as she shook her head.
"Drag her further away." Billy snarled at the bodyguard.
"Yes, sir," The bodyguard replied and proceeded to open the door to haul Angie further away.
Billy then returned to the room and dumped all Angie's clothing and personal belongings outside the gate. He also instructed his assistant to take all the valuable items and donate them.
Angie's possessions were not particularly valuable. In all honesty, he thought all these things were beneath him, but he loathed her enough that he refused to leave a single penny to her.
After they were done, they left.
When Angie returned wholly disheveled, she found they had already dumped all her belongings all over the ground.
She sobbed as she gathered her belongings. She even thought of climbing over the gate into the villa when she raised her eyes at the tall gate.
She had no choice. She had nowhere else but this place to call home.
As Jeffrey's wife, she was entitled to live here since Jeffrey owned this place. Therefore, even if she climbed past the fence, no one would be able to apprehend her.
Angie knew where the spare key for the gate was, and if she managed to climb in and get it, she could continue to stay here.
So, she grabbed the iron railing of the carved gate and was about to start climbing when a car stopped nearby.
"Hey, what are you doing?" two large and muscular men shouted at her as they exited the car.
"This is my house, and my key is inside," Angie said, attempting to calm herself.
The buff man pushed her as he walked toward her. "Who are you lying to? The property owner told us that you are a mistress, and he ordered us to take good care of the house and keep you from entering. You better leave now, or I'll beat you up."
He waved his fist in Angie's direction and gave her a look of contempt.
"I'm not a mistress!" she firmly shook her head. "I am the owner of this house. This is my house!"
The man looked at her from top to bottom, his eyes derisive. "Why are you even lying? You look like one!"
Angie was so furious that she started shaking as she tried to contain her rage.
As the Wendel Family's young lady, she was treated like a princess since she was a child. A peasant like the one before her right now would feel embarrassed at the sight of her in the past, but now, they were humiliating her by calling her a mistress!
I am not a mistress!
I am not!
Her trembling hands reached inside the luggage for her phone to call the police.
This was her house; she was the matriarch of the Miller Family, and she wanted to protect her legal rights!
The cops arrived promptly once the phone was connected. After she informed them of the situation, they made many calls and coordinated with everyone. Finally, they came to a conclusion. "Ms. Wendel, we called your husband, and he said that his son, Billy, will temporarily take charge of the family's affairs. We contacted his son too, and he said that he was planning to sell this house, so you can't live here," the police stated.
"Why not?" Angie was irate and disquieted, with tears streaming down her face. "I am the matriarch of the Miller Family. This is my house. Why can't I live in it?"
"Because you and your husband signed a prenuptial property agreement, the property he owned before the marriage has nothing to do with you. Since he owned this property before marriage, according to the law, it does not belong to you," the police said. "Moreover, your husband had just decided to give all his assets to his son, which means this property has absolutely nothing to do with you now, so you can't live here."
"He gave it all to his son?" Angie's face turned stark white, and she repeated in a trance, "He gave it all to her son?!"
Angie first agreed to sign a prenuptial property agreement with Jeffrey because if she hadn't, Jeffrey's children would never allow her to get married to him.
On the other hand, Jeffrey would think that she was not in love with him but rather his money if she did not sign a prenuptial property agreement with him, which might result in a breakup.
He waved his fist in Angie's direction and gave her a look of contempt.
If they broke up, Jeffrey could still find a younger and prettier woman than her, but she had no better choice except for him.
