After congratulating Sebastian on finally getting hitched, the crowd had a great time partying until over 11:00PM before going their separate ways. Quincy and Joel usually went to sleep at 9:00PM, but they stayed up with the crowd until 11:00PM since there were a lot of people today.

As the crowd left the clubhouse, Madeline invited Caitlin to join them on their way back.

Joel was still capering about when they left the clubhouse, but he fell asleep shortly after getting into the car.

When they returned to the Sun Garden, Madeline asked Sebastian in a whisper, "Could you take Aldo and Buddy back to our bedroom first? I have to send Katy to Leigh's place."

Sebastian nodded. "No problem."

Madeline had every confidence in the man. She then rubbed Quincy's face while the boy was still awake, saying, "Listen to your dad and go to sleep after taking a shower, okay?"

Quincy nodded obediently. "Go ahead, Mommy. I'll help Daddy take care of Buddy."

"Good boy!" Madeline bent down and kissed the space between Quincy's eyebrows before rubbing his head. After watching Sebastian and the two kids go upstairs, she returned to the courtyard and accompanied Caitlin to Leigh's place. She had notified Leigh in advance of her and Caitlin's arrival.

The instant they opened the door to Leigh's place, they were greeted by a sweet aroma. Madeline let Caitlin in first. After changing her shoes, she asked Leigh, "What are you making? It smells so good."

"It's been a while, Katy!" Leigh and Caitlin hugged each other for a moment. Then, Leigh said, "I've got nothing to do anyway, so I made a pot of beauty soup and a couple of side dishes. Let's have a couple of drinks."

Madeline said, "Katy is wounded, so she can't drink alcohol."

Leigh checked Caitlin's wound. "It's okay; the wound is nothing serious. Just leave it to me and drink as you please. I guarantee you that it won't leave a scar."

Madeline was speechless for a moment. "Are you an alcoholic or something?" Why is a beautiful knockout like her so fond of drinking?

"Alcohol is the solution to all of life's problems!" Leigh replied with a grin. She continued, "Generally speaking, any kind of alcohol would do the job. Drinking is a pleasure; it's always good to drink your sorrows away."

Not knowing what to do with her, Madeline shook her head in resignation.

Leigh shoved Caitlin into the bathroom. "Just crash at my place tonight, Katy. Go take a shower before I help you treat the wound. We'll drink as we please after that!"

Unable to turn down Leigh's hospitality, Caitlin took a shower and changed into the loungewear she had prepared for her. When she came out of the bathroom, the food was already served on the dining table.

Leigh clapped her hands in satisfaction. "The time is just right! Come on, Katy, let me dress your wound first. We can start eating after that!" To her, the wound on Caitlin's forehead was very easy to treat, so it was pretty much nothing.

While disinfecting and dressing Caitlin's wound, Leigh asked her in detail how she had injured her forehead. After Caitlin recounted briefly what had happened, Leigh severely lambasted Lucian, Jared, and others from head to toe.

Caitlin's heart warmed when she saw someone getting angry about what had happened to her while expressing their solidarity with her. She said thankfully with a smile, "Thank you, Leigh."

"Oh, don't mention it." Leigh put a Band-Aid on Caitlin's wound. "The wound is minor; it'll heal in a couple of days."

Caitlin didn't explain to Leigh that she thanked the latter not because she had dressed her wound, but because she cared about her from the bottom of her heart. She found it very heartwarming.

After Caitlin's wound was treated, the three women sat around the dining table. Leigh filled the three glasses with wine, saying, "Come on, let's drink to celebrate our long-awaited reunion. Cheers!"

Madeline didn't like drinking. However, seeing that Leigh was in high spirits, she didn't want to spoil her pleasure, so she raised her glass and drank with them.

"Come on, let's eat." Leigh distributed the food among them with a serving ladle. She said, "Tonight's dishes are my specialties. I've prepared them for y'all with great care, so you gotta do me the honor of finishing them. Otherwise, I'm not gonna make these for you anymore!"

Madeline shook her head helplessly. "Seems like you're already drunk before you even start drinking."

"Tsk, that's nonsense!" Leigh replied. "I've got a hollow leg. I'm gonna drink both of you under the table!"

"Is that so?" Madeline sized her up with scrutiny. "Who was it that got drunk while drinking with Lucas?"

Leigh was lost for words for a moment. "No, it wasn't me. I didn't get drunk!"

Madeline poked her in the forehead. "Yeah, just keep on denying it."

Caitlin asked with a smile, "Who's Lucas?"

"He's my… husband's younger brother…" Madeline replied, "as well as Leigh's future date."

"Is that so?" Caitlin turned to look at Leigh in surprise. "Leigh, are you gonna settle down at last?"
