After Quincy and Joel were tucked into bed in the children's room for the night, Sebastian and Madeline returned to their room to rest.

Typically, women usually shower longer than men. Madeline returned to the bedroom after taking a shower to find Sebastian sitting on the bedside in his pajamas and typing on the computer. He carried a pleasant and fresh scent that was unique to him after bathing, filling the room with fragrance.

Seeing him sitting on the bedside and typing away on the computer with his head lowered slightly, she could only describe the scene with a few words, What a serene sight.

Her cheeks flushed slightly, and she felt giddy when she recalled that their wedding was a few days away.

Madeline sat beside Sebastian and immediately stopped typing on the computer. He looked at her with a chuckle. "Is something wrong?"

She nodded lightly and said to him, "My mother called me today and told me to go back to Wendel City to prepare for marriage."

He frowned. "When?"

"Tomorrow or the day after," she replied.

"So soon?" Sebastian refused. "It's too early. Isn't it a traditional custom that the bride and groom can't meet three days before marriage? You can go back next Wednesday."

Madeline was speechless.

The following Wednesday was precisely three days before their wedding. Mr. Hart sure was stingy.

However, she had never been one to care about such trivial matters, so she nodded and complied, "Sure. Let's do what you want."

"You're as good as Joel." He smirked.

She was once again at a loss for words.

Sebastian was happy, but Madeline's parents wouldn't be. Her parents were looking forward to her bringing the two children home, but Mr. Hart was too clingy. Madeline's parents wanted the children to stay at their house for a few days, but Mr. Hart would always come and pick them up at night. He was adamant about not letting them sleep over at her parent's house, and his excuse would be that the children were used to their own beds. Even her sons agreed to his decision. Whether Sebastian or someone else picked them up, the children would immediately give a joyful farewell to their grandparents and seemed happy to return home.

While Crystal had previously wished for Madeline to return to Wendel City before the wedding so that Madeline could be treated like a princess, it now appeared that Crystal's wish could not be fulfilled.

"I realize you have a knack for raising children," Sebastian said. "All the children you've raised grew up well, like Quincy, Joel, and Martin."

"Nah." Hearing his compliment, Madeline was delighted, but she replied humbly, "That's their own nature. I'm not as great as you think."

"Being born with it is important, but so is their upbringing. Didn't you say that Martin couldn't even talk to people when you first met him? Look at how much he's grown. He can purchase gifts to please others," he explained.

"That's true," Madeline couldn't help but laugh. "This is the first time I've seen him try so hard to please someone. I didn't even expect him to do that."

Sebastian curled the corners of his mouth and stated, "That means he is very satisfied with me."

"Yeah." She lowered her head and uttered softly, "Me too…"

He raised his eyebrows, questioning, "What did you say? I couldn't hear you clearly because you spoke too softly."

She blushed slightly. "No, I said nothing."

"No point in denying it. I might not have heard it clearly, but I heard something like..." He slid his digits into her hair and murmured, "you too…"

Her face turned scarlet this time.

Sebastian gently pushed Madeline down on the bed, leaned down, and pressed his lips against hers, muttering, "Darling, I'm also very satisfied with you..."

In every aspect.

The lights in the room quickly dimmed…

The next afternoon, Sebastian came back earlier than usual. After returning, he did not return to Sun Garden but came to Oasis Law Office.

He knocked on the door and entered. He saw Madeline working at the desk and couldn't help but smile.

She stood up to greet him when she saw him, "Why did you come back so early today?"

He handed her a document. "When I saw your brother yesterday, I had some doubts, so I asked my people to do another investigation. Take a look."

Madeline opened the file, took out the materials, and it filled her eyes with surprise after a few glances.

With an unbelievable look, she asked, "Martin is Andrew's brother?"

"Yes." Sebastian nodded and added, "The moment I saw your brother yesterday, I thought he looked a lot like Andrew. I'm quite knowledgeable in this aspect. People who are related by blood are easy to tell. Your brother has the same eyes as Andrew, and their facial features are highly similar. It just so happened that Andrew also has a younger sister who was born in the same year, month, and day as your brother..."
