As Leigh and Lucas chattered away, Madeline, Aldo, and Buddy all received their presents from Patrick and Paul.

Paul had given the children a yacht and Madeline an estate, while Patrick gave the children a private plane and Madeline an island.

Madeline was speechless.

The extravagance!

"These are all too much. We can't accept them," she tried to decline.

"You deserve it," Patrick declared. "We haven't had new members in the family in a long time, but you gave us two adorable children at once! We can't thank you enough for that. You deserve everything. In fact, you and Seb should keep up the good work! We'd love to have more young ones around."

Paul stroked Aldo and Buddy's heads. "The island has a lot of things that kids love. We heard how tough it was for you to take care of the two boys back then. You can rely on Seb to take care of all of you now, so you should take the kids around more. They won't stay kids for long. All we want is to see you and the kids having a good life."

Even so, Madeline didn't feel that it was right for her to accept the gifts. She kept trying to decline. In the end, Patrick waved his hand and firmly declared, "Don't feel the need to decline. Everything Paul and I have will one day go to Seb anyway, and what Seb has will go to Aldo and Buddy too, so it's just a matter of getting it sooner rather than later. Just take them! You don't need to be so courteous over these things."

"Yeah. Just accept it," Sebastian said with a smile. "90% of the presents I've received in my life all come from Uncle Patrick and Uncle Paul. From now on, you'll have to get used to it too."

Buddy's eyes sparkled. "Whoa! Daddy, your uncles are way better than mine! My uncles have only given me a present once!"

"Is that so? That's terrible of them!" Paul pretended to be outraged. "It's fine, Buddy. It doesn't matter that your uncles aren't good to you. Your Granduncle Patrick and Granduncle Paul will give you and Aldo many presents in the future."

"Yay! That's great!" Buddy clapped excitedly. "I love presents!"

Once again, Madeline was dumbstruck.

Patrick and Paul were extravagant in their generosity and her son was shameless enough to accept it without question!

Buddy went over to Patrick and Paul to give them each a peck on the cheek. "Thank you, Granduncle Patrick and Granduncle Paul! You're both so young, though. You don't look like granduncles at all!"

Patrick and Paul were tickled pink by his flattery.

Paul ruffled Buddy's hair and turned to Philip. "Philip, I never thought our family would get so lucky. Not only did we get two little grandkids, but such smart and adorable ones too! Look at how handsome they are. They remind me of Seb when he was a child. I can't help but adore them!"

Philip chuckled. "Aldo and Buddy are a lot cuter than Seb when he was their age. Seb was so annoying as a child. He wasn't as adorable as Aldo and Buddy."

Buddy turned to Sebastian and giggled. "Hehe. You were an annoying child, Daddy!"

Sebastian was speechless.

He gave Philip an exasperated look. "Dad, don't exaggerate in front of the children. They'll believe you."

"Who said I was exaggerating?" Philip fired back. "It's all true! When you were a child, you didn't have even one-tenth of Aldo and Buddy's cuteness!"

"Hahaha!" Buddy giggled gleefully with his feet swaying in the air. "That's because Aldo and I inherited all of Daddy's good genes and became even cuter than he was!"

Patrick and Paul laughed heartily at Buddy's comments.

Paul hugged Buddy and said, "What a precious child. I like you very much. Why don't you come home with your Granduncle Paul, hm? You'll have hundreds of people to do your bidding and play with you. You can do whatever you want!"

"Yes!" Patrick pulled Buddy over to him. "Come with your Granduncle Patrick, Aldo. I have even more people at my house and they'll all follow your command too. You'll be our little prince, and what you say goes!"

"Cut that out!" Philip barked. "Are you bandits or something? Why are you trying to steal my grandsons away from me? If you like children so much, then have some of your own! Don't set your sights on my precious grandkids!"

"Well, I would've but I couldn't have any of my own," Paul replied. "I wouldn't have waited so long if I could."

"That's right!" Patrick agreed. "Don't be so selfish, Philip. Seb and Maddie are still so young, and Aldo and Buddy have grown up into fine young boys now. The couple will still have plenty of time to have more children! You can let Aldo and Buddy be our heirs instead. A lot of people have their eyes on our family assets, you know. Shouldn't you be celebrating the fact that we're giving it to Aldo and Buddy?"

"Hah! As if we don't have family assets of our own!" Philip let out a disgruntled snort. "Yes, I'm not as wealthy as you two, but I'm still a man of good standing in society! Aldo will take over from me in the future! Why would we be interested in that little bit of family assets of yours?"

Madeline couldn't resist laughing.
