After cleaning up any traces they might have left behind, they walked out of the private room.

In the adjacent room, Sebastian and Madeline also left and returned to their car.

The group returned to the Harts' vacation mansion. After Quinton extracted valuable footage, he sent it to Sebastian.

Sebastian and Madeline watched it together and then forwarded the video to Madeline. "You can handle this video on your own now."

"Thank you!" Madeline thought for a moment before she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

Sebastian was momentarily stunned, but he soon smiled.

Blushing, Madeline dared not look at him. After thinking for a moment, she sent the video separately to Sophie and Edmund.

It was already late, but Sophie couldn't fall asleep as he tossed and turned in bed.

With her mind filled with thoughts of Edmund, she was angry, resentful, and in pain.

She couldn't leave nor forget him.

This was like an obsession. Edmund belonged to her and must be hers. She would never allow Edmund to leave her!

As she was fiercely plotting, determined to find Edmund regardless of where he was hiding or what price needed to be paid once morning came, her phone buzzed.

Impatiently, she reached for her phone and glanced at it. It was an unfamiliar number that sent her a video.

She opened the video. After watching it, she sat up abruptly, her blood running cold.

Is this true?

It can't be!

This can't be real!

The Foreman Family were all fools. How could her parents, who were so shrewd, be deceived by Elijah?!

But this was a video and not a photo. The possibility of it being fake was very small.

The person in the video, Ashley, was as alive as any other living person. Judging from her expressions, actions, and tone of voice, it didn't seem like she was lying.

Her butler was already waiting outside the door when he called out anxiously, "Miss Sophie, why do you suddenly want to go home so late? It's not safe to go back at night. Can't you go back tomorrow?"

Sophie didn't say a word. She opened the video and tossed her phone to the butler to watch before she dashed toward the airstrip.

In fact, he had always believed that Edmund was innocent.
