Chapter 1248 Going To Get It

Benjamin met Zachary's eyes. “She won't find out as long as you keep mum,” he said calmly.

“Mommy is smart. She might even figure it out on her own.”

Zachary pouted. Mommy always finds out.

Narrowing his eyes, Benjamin studied his son.

“Get on the same page, all of you. Just don't let anything slip.”

Zachary sighed. “Got it. You, too. Be careful.”

Benjamin glanced at the boy. “Go and take a shower. Don't let your mother detect a trace of anything out of the ordinary.”

She even noticed the dirt on my shoes.

Zachary glanced down at his shirt. “I have nothing to change into!”

Benjamin called Kingsley, who was inside the ward.

“Buy Zachary a set of clothes, Kingsley.”

Kingsley emerged and regarded both father and son. “No need for that. I can have someone send it over with a single phone call.”

“There's no need to go through all that trouble. I have asked Oliver to bring me some clothes,” Zachary chimed in as he gazed up at the two adults. I've accounted for this.

With a grin, Kingsley caressed the boy's head. “You're cleverer than your father for having thought of this ahead of time, Zachary.”

Zachary glanced at Benjamin, looking pleased with himself.

“You're just lazy,” Benjamin chided Kingsley as he shot the latter a glare.

Kingsley pulled a face. “It's much more convenient to have somebody bring it!” he argued. “How is it any different?”

Benjamin did not deign to argue with him. He went in to check on Tim, deciding he would only return to Arissa's ward when Tim's temperature dropped further.

In the meantime, Darius and the children arrived at the hospital.

“How is Tim, Zachary?”

Darius was beside himself with anxiety. He wanted to ask Benjamin during their phone call earlier, but the latter had hung up.

I would keep worrying if I did not see my grandson with my own eyes.

“Daddy told me on the phone that Tim's doing much better. We're going to see him now.”

With his younger siblings in tow, Gavin led his grandfather to Tim's ward.

“Tim!” Darius cried urgently as soon as he arrived at the door.

“Is that Grandpa?”

Zachary hurried out at the sound of Darius' voice.

“We're over here!” He waved at them.

Darius strode over quickly. The children hastened to keep up with him.

“Hello, Old Mr. Graham.”

Upon seeing the group's arrival, Shaun and Kingsley hastened forward to help the old man.

“How is Tim?”

“He's much better after the jab, don't worry,” Shaun consoled Darius.
