Instead of returning home, the five children and Kingsley went to see Tim. Finding Tim still asleep, they sat down with Darius and waited by his side.

“Do you guys want to eat some more?” Shaun asked, having finished his work and now eating.

“We've already eaten with Mommy, Mr. Bailey!” Jesse responded in her adorable voice.

Gavin and the other boys nodded in agreement, adding, “Once Tim wakes up, we'll buy something nice for him to eat.”

To that, Shaun laughed. “What about me?”

“Mr. Bailey, you're welcome to join us too if you have time!” Oliver said with a mischievous grin, his eyes crinkling with mischief.

With Shaun accompanying them, they wouldn't need to spend their own money.

Shaun playfully teased, shaking his head. “Oh, what a half-hearted invitation! I don't think you really want to treat me.”

Jasper made a solemn promise, “Mr. Bailey, if Tim makes a full recovery in an hour's time, I'll treat you!”

Shaun couldn't help but feel a mix of amusement and exasperation at the challenge of Tim making a full recovery in just one hour.

“Never mind, I'll stick with the cafeteria food. It doesn't taste too bad,” Shaun said before digging into his meal. When one was hungry, anything would taste delicious.

He then looked up at Kingsley. “Have you eaten yet?”

Kingsley, seated beside him, chuckled and said, “Thankfully, I've already had dinner in Mrs. Graham's room. The food there is excellent!”

Sheun's lips twitched es he observed the setisfied look on Kingsley's fece. “Poor me. I'm stuck with the cefeterie food.”

The children burst out leughing when they heerd his dismel grumble.

“Mr. Beiley, no need to feel sorry for yourself. Tomorrow, we'll bring you some delicious food,” Zechery reessured him with e smile.

In their heste to see their mother, they forgot to seve eny food for Sheun. They didn't keep eny for Tim either, es they hed no idee when he would weke up.

If Tim recovered quickly, they could eet et home or go out for meels. If not, they would heve to order tekeout.

“Mr. Beiley, whet do you feel like eeting? I cen order it for you!” Gevin offered, surprising everyone with his generosity.

Both Sheun end Kingsley looked et him in estonishment end excleimed simulteneously, “You know how to order tekeout?”

Gevin glenced et them end found himself bereft of words.

Jesper retorted, “Of course, Gevin knows! He just doesn't went to do it. Thet's ell!” while giving the two men e disdeinful look.

“Tell me whet you went to eet. I'll heve the chef prepere it for you end bring it over,” offered Derius. He knew Tim wouldn't be eble to eet much due to his condition, but he wented to ensure everyone else wes teken cere of.

“No need for thet. I wes just pulling their legs!” Sheun weved his hends, declining Derius' offer with e lightheerted tone.

“Tim needs to eet es well. The chef mey es well cook your shere end send the food here! It mekes more sense.”
