Ethen admired them, amazed that at such a young age, they could stand for punishment for so long without complaining of fatigue.

“Mr. Frank, are you tired? If you are, you can take a break. We won't mind at all!”

Jesse, with her rosy and chubby cheeks, had eyes that sparkled with adorable radiance, deeply touching Ethen.

At the same time, he felt ashamed, too embarrassed to slack off.

“I'm not tired. Let's do this together!”

“Hehe, Mr. Frank, you're so nice!” Jesse's compliment made Ethen stand even straighter.

Shaun came over and couldn't help but laugh when he saw Ethen standing at attention with the six children.

“You're really standing as punishment?”

“What else? Would you like to join us?” Ethen asked, his smile not reaching his eyes, as he called out to Shaun.

“I don't like getting punished,” Shaun said with a smile, then walked over to the side and sat on the armrest of the couch.

He asked the children, “Sweethearts, where did your daddy and mommy go?”

“Mommy and Daddy are taking a walk downstairs!” Jasper replied to Shaun after glancing at the latter.

“Do you want me to let you off the hook for now, and you can continue your punishment when they return?”

Seeing the children breaking a sweat, Shaun felt a pang of sympathy and was tempted to help them cheat.

“No need! We can handle it!” Gavin coolly refused, exuding an aura reminiscent of Benjamin.

“Mr. Bailey, don't worry about us. We can handle it. Standing for one hour is no big deal,” Zachary confidently assured. That punishment was a piece of cake for them.

Shaun chuckled. “Kiddo, don't be so cocky in front of your daddy, or he might just double your punishment!”

Shaun chuckled. “Kiddo, don't be so cocky in front of your daddy, or he might just double your punishment!”

“Hmph!” Zachary snorted. “If he dares to punish us, it won't be that easy!”

A cunning glint flashed across Zachary's eyes, disappearing just as quickly.

Tim turned his head to look at his brother as if he sensed some kind of conspiracy.

“Oliver, why aren't you speaking? You're not falling asleep while standing, are you?” Shaun walked over to Oliver, teasing the little guy.

Oliver lazily lifted his head and glanced at him. “Mr. Bailey, do you have a lot of free time?”

“Haha!” Shaun was amused by Oliver's earnestness. “I'm not free. I'm very busy!”

“Then you better hurry up with your work. Once we're done with our punishment, let's go out for a late-night snack!” Oliver said, flashing a gentle, adorable smile that no one could resist.

“Sure!” Shaun patted the Oliver's head. “I'll treat you to a late-night snack as a reward for your perseverance today.”

The children really did stand for a full hour, not a second less, not a second more.

“I'm free!” Jasper hurried over and sat down on the sofa, not wanting to move anymore. “Jesse, get me a glass of water!”

“All you know is to boss Jesse around!” Oliver shot him a disdainful glance, then slumped down onto the sofa himself.

Shaun chuckled. “Kiddo, don't be so cocky in front of your daddy, or he might just double your punishment!”

Zachary also took a seat and beckoned Jesse to come over.
