Clarissa’s birthday was approaching, but she did not make it a big deal. For the past few years, it was only Catherine who celebrated her birthday with her, cooking her tagliatelle for breakfast. Clarissa had celebrated her birthday in low profile for more than twenty years, so she thought this year would be no different.
