I woke up with a start, my pulse hammering and Iny heart feeling caged and close to bursting, I was covered in sweat and I still tell the phantom lingers of the past.

I swear I could smell his scent, the way his body had felt and how he had made my birthday the most special but also I had managed to hurt him by my stupidity.
