Alyssa had some resistance towards Emmett and did not put her arms around his neck.

Emmett seemed to be in a good mood and did not care at all. Instead, he said sarcastically, "Alyssa, did you burn down my villa just to come out and live in this kind of damn place?"

The hotel Alyssa chose this time could be accommodated without needing to register.

So the conditions were not that great.

There were all kinds of people here.

Alyssa pursed her lips and did not speak.

She was now caught by Emmett. She had lost. She had nothing to say.

When she went down, she found that the lobby of the hotel was quiet and empty. The boss and the other guests were probably scared by Emmett's actions.

Emmett brought a lot of people with him. All of them were bodyguards in suits and shoes. With a look, one could tell that they were not to be trifled with. It would be strange if ordinary people were not afraid of him.

His car was parked at the entrance of the hotel. The bodyguards opened the door for him and Emmett carried Alyssa into the car.

As soon as Alyssa sat down, she moved to the window.

But very quickly, Emmett grabbed her wrist and brought her to him.

Alyssa did not have as much strength as Emmett, so she could only passively fall towards him.

Emmett took her into his arms and held her waist with one hand while holding the back of her head with the other. His thin lips pressed down.

His kiss did not have the slightest bit of gentleness and skill to speak of.

It was completely overbearing and crude.

He pressed on the back of Alyssa's head and kissed her lips. His breathing was heavy.

Only when Alyssa's lips hurt did Emmett let go of her.

She pursed her lips, the corners of her lips completely numb.

Alyssa did not have the strength to push him and only asked coldly, "Are we going back to Holston City now?"

"What? You still want to play cat and mouse games with me?" Emmett did not let go of her. He still held her firmly in his arms, as if he was afraid that she would run away again.

"It's too late. I'm very tired. I don't want to rush through the night." After Alyssa finished speaking, she yawned in response to the situation.

This was just an excuse. In fact Alyssa was more unwilling.

She did not want to be caught by Emmett just like that.

Alyssa could imagine what kind of days she would have to wait for after following Emmett back.

Their relationship would not change. Emmett would still control everything about her. No, he would even control her even more.

She thought of the news she saw on TV during the day. She suddenly looked up at Emmett and asked, "Did you ask the media to release the news?"

Alyssa's words were not very clear, but Emmett naturally understood.

Emmett touched her face. There was a strange gentleness in his expression. "Of course. If I didn't ask people to release the news, how would they dare to say that my wife died in the fire?"

No matter how arrogant the media were, they would not dare to provoke the Lawrence family.

After all, the Lawrences ruled the Holston City.

Alyssa had just regained her senses.

Emmett released the news and made the media crazily spread the news of her death in the fire. Then after she was brought back by Emmett this time, he would have even more reason to control her.

After all, she was a "dead" person in the outside world.

When Alyssa thought of this, she could not help but feel a chill run down her spine.

Emmett felt Alyssa's body stiffen. There was a hint of deep meaning in his eyes, as if he had already seen through her thoughts. He lowered his head and lightly kissed Alyssa's forehead. With a bit of comfort, he said, "Let’s find a hotel tonight and stay for the night. We will return to Holston City tomorrow."

Alyssa somewhat resisted Emmett's touch.

She was frozen like a rock in Emmett's arms, and Emmett took her to the hotel. She could not say a word of rebuttal.

According to Emmett's personality, Alyssa had already angered him by setting the villa on fire. She had been fortunate enough that Emmett did not release his anger even after finding her.

Alyssa naturally did not dare to provoke him anymore.

Emmett of course stayed in the best hotel in the city.

The facilities were a thousand times better than the small hotel Alyssa stayed before.

After entering the room, Alyssa sat on the bed and did not move.

Emmett took off his coat and ordered, "Go take a bath."

Alyssa was like a robot. She would do whatever orders Emmett gave.

However, as soon as she entered the bathroom, she found Emmett following behind her.

Alyssa frowned. "What are you doing?"

Emmett curled his lips and smiled without any warmth. He said in a low voice, "Of course I am looking at you."

He lowered his voice and sounded cool.

"Where else can I run to now?" Alyssa smiled with a hint of mockery.

Emmett said seriously, "You even dare to burn my villa, let alone this hotel."

Alyssa was stunned for a moment when she heard that.
