The next morning.

When Alyssa woke up, she did not see Emmett beside her.

She got up and got out of bed. She took her coat and put it on. When she walked to the door, she found that it was not tightly shut.

Emmett booked a suite, and outside the bedroom was the living room.

Through the unlocked door, Alyssa saw Emmett sitting on the sofa and making a call.

Emmett deliberately lowered his voice. Alyssa only saw Emmett's lips moving, but she could not hear what he was saying.

Suddenly, Emmett seemed to have sensed something. He raised his head and looked towards Alyssa.

Alyssa was caught while eavesdropping.

Alyssa simply opened the door and walked out.

Emmett did not hang up the phone in his hand. He only reached for the kettle on the table and poured a cup of hot water for Alyssa.

Alyssa reached out to take it. He withdrew his hand and continued to talk on the phone.

At this time, there was a knock on the door.

Alyssa looked at Emmett and he said, "I ordered breakfast."

She then went to open the door without any expression.

The waiter pushed the dining cart in and placed the breakfast on the table. He said respectfully, "Hello, this is breakfast ordered by Mr. Lawrence. I wish you a good meal."

"Thank you." Alyssa thanked him and followed him to lock the door.

When they reached the door, the waiter suddenly turned his head and called, "Miss Moore."

Alyssa was shocked and suddenly looked up at the waiter.

The waiter put a note in her hand and quickly left.

Alyssa quickly reacted and put the note into her pocket.

When she turned around, she looked in Emmett's direction alertly.

Emmett just hung up the phone and turned to look at her. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Alyssa closed the door behind her and sat down at the table.

Alyssa did not know what was written on the note the waiter gave her, but she did not dare to read it in a hurry. She was a little absent-minded when she ate. She was afraid that Emmett would see her abnormality, so she could only keep her head down to eat.

After she finished her meal with great difficulty, Alyssa got up and went to the bathroom.

After locking the door, she took out the note and only took a glance at it. Then, she widened her eyes.

The contents of the paper were only few simple words: "Do you want to escape?"

Below was the content of the letters and numbers mixed together. It looked like the license plate number.

Moreover, the license plate number looked somewhat familiar.

Alyssa only looked twice and memorized the license plate number. She then threw the note into the toilet and washed it away with water.

When she opened the bathroom door and went out, Alyssa looked up and saw Emmett's expressionless face.

Emmett said in an unfriendly tone, "You lock the door in the bathroom. Are you still thinking of how to escape?"

"Yes." Alyssa raised her chin slightly and said half-seriously, "I did some research and found that I could not escape from the bathroom."

Emmett's face turned cold. He almost squeezed out a sentence from between his teeth. "Offending me will not do you any good."

Alyssa spread out her hands, "If I don't anger you, I still get nothing either, right?"

Moreover, when she saw Emmett's angry look, she actually felt a little happy in her heart.

After breakfast, Emmett brought Alyssa out of the room and prepared to return to Holston City.

After leaving the hotel, Frank told Emmett about some matter. Alyssa was paying attention to the car parked at the parking lot at the entrance.

She looked over and did not see the license plate number on the note.

What was going on?

The license plate number was clearly very familiar to her. In other words, the owner of the license plate knew her and knew her current situation.

He was clearly trying to help her.

The only chance she could escape from Emmett was now.

Once she got into Emmett's car, she could only follow him back to Holston City.

At this time, she noticed a black car at the corner not far away.

The car moved back two meters and then two meters.

This strange behavior attracted Alyssa's attention.

She walked two steps forward and saw the license plate of the car.

The license plate of the car was the one written on the note.

Alyssa was a little excited and a little nervous.

She turned to look at Emmett.

Emmett stood two meters away from her. When he saw her looking over, he waved at her and signaled her to go over.

Alyssa's heart was beating like radium and she was unusually nervous.

Now that there was an opportunity in front of her, she could escape Emmett's control. How could she let it go?

She walked towards Emmett, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw that the black car was also driving towards her. It was getting closer and closer.

Alyssa estimated the distance between her and the car. If she ran over later, she would only need half a minute at most.

Only half a minute…
