Hazel picked up Alyssa and drove to the Golden Fountain Club.

When they got into the car, Alyssa asked Hazel, "What's wrong? Why do you look so bad?"

Alyssa did not interact much with Hazel, but she could tell that Hazel was a lively person.

But at this moment, Hazel's expression was tense, looking a little nervous.

Hazel shook her head, "I’m a little nervous."

She thought for a moment and added another sentence. "I have something very important to tell you. Forget it. We'll talk about it later."

Alyssa saw that. She did not ask any more questions.

The two of them entered the Golden Fountain Club together.

Hazel pushed the menu to Alyssa, "What would you like to drink? Are you hungry?"

Alyssa was neither hungry nor thirsty, but seeing Hazel so nervous, she still ordered a cup of coffee.

Hazel tentatively asked, "Recently, have you thought of anything from the past?"

"No." Alyssa's expression became a little more indifferent.

She had gone for a second checkup a few days ago and the doctor said she had recovered very well.

As for her memory, she did not remember anything about the past at all and the doctor could not do anything about it.

Without any memories of the past, Alyssa was also very frightened. She felt as if she was floating in the air and did not have any sense of reality.

Sometimes, she would wonder if she was really alive.

Hazel pursed her lips and passed her phone to Alyssa. "Don't you have any impression of this person?"

The phone screen displayed a picture. The man in the picture was none other than Emmett.

"I know him. He is Emmett Lawrence." Alyssa was a little surprised. "Why did you show me his picture?"

Hazel ignored the latter half of her sentence and said in shock, "You know him? Then why did you still say you don't remember anything?"

"He is the president of Lawrence Group. Anyone who has seen the financial news knows him, right?" Alyssa felt that Hazel was making too much of a fuss.

Hazel asked, "Is that all?"

"Yes. . ." Alyssa hesitated for a moment and said, "He moved to our residential area yesterday. He still has a daughter."

"Your residential area?" Hazel felt that she was like a repeater. Every time Alyssa said something, she would repeat it in shock.

Alyssa saw how surprised she was and still said truthfully, "And. . . he lives across to my house."

"What?" Hazel reached out and ruffled her hair. She was a little stunned.

"What?" Hazel reached out and ruffled her hair. She was a little stunned.

What exactly was going on?

Didn't these two lose their memories?

After sometime, Hazel calmed herself down. "So you two have met before?"

"Yes, they even went to our house for dinner last night." Alyssa shook her head when she thought about what had happened last night.

She then said to Hazel, "Don't tell anyone about these things."

"You saw his daughter? She is cute, right?" Hazel held the cup of water in her hand and waved it around, trying to hide her emotions.

When talking about Angela, Alyssa could not help but laugh, "She is very cute."

Hazel picked up the cup of water and drank a mouthful of water, as if she had made up her mind. Her tone was incomparably serious as she said, "She is your daughter."

One second, two seconds. . .

Time went by slowly. . .

The table was filled with a strange silence.

Alyssa did not know how long had passed before she regained her voice.

"Hazel, are you joking with me?" Alyssa did not believe Hazel's words after a short moment of surprise.

Hazel also knew that Alyssa would not immediately believe her.

She took a deep breath and said, "No, what I said is true."

Hazel did not seem like she was lying to her but this matter sounded too absurd.

Angela was the daughter of Emmett and his fiancée. How could Angela be her daughter?

She and Emmett?

Moreover, she had a fiancée, Sampson.

Could it be that Sampson was lying to her?

"Angela is my daughter?" Alyssa pursed her lips and thought for a moment before saying, "You mean that Emmett and I used to be..."

Hazel added the last two words, "Husband and wife."

Clunk!

Alyssa accidentally knocked over the coffee cup in front of her. The brown coffee left a dark mark on the rice checkered cloth.

After a while, Alyssa finally found her voice. "Although I think you are not lying, you said that this matter is too..."

She had not finished speaking when she was interrupted by a sharp voice.

"Alyssa?"
