NICK'S POV

SEVEN YEARS AGO

It's been almost a year since my mother died. It's been almost a year since my mother's case was closed. It's been almost a year that I've been fighting for justice of my mother's death. I tried to do little fixes in the engine of this car that needs to be picked up any minute now. It's an old classic car and it's a pretty damn beautiful ride.
