Vicky was not a doctor, but even she could tell that Gloria was in a bad state, and there was no point in her to argue with someone who was mentally ill.

For reasons she could not begin to put into words, something felt odd…and she could not put her finger on it.

Ever since Gloria disappeared, Vicky and Tyler had a peaceful time together, and Vicky continued to undergo hypnosis without Tyler noticing.
