Chapter 362
“okay.”
Moses handed her the purchased items. From his angle, even if people were outside, they could not see what he was doing, let alone recognize Cynthia as the person opening the door.
After delivering the items, Moses followed Cynthia’s instructions and waited outside.
Cynthia took out the items Moses had bought and selected one to inject into Joshua. Then she waited there.
After about ten minutes, Joshua’s body temperature gradually turned normal, and he began to regain consciousness.
Cynthia turned on the signal jammer again and said casually, “Once you wake up, put on your clothes and leave.”
Joshua was confused and stared at her, surprised by her nonchalant tone.
He thought Cynthia was a heartless woman.
“What are you lying around for?” Cynthia, seeing that he had opened his eyes but had not moved, reminded him, “You disappeared for over an hour. Grandpa and the others might be looking for you.”
Joshua remained silent. Then, he got up and changed his clothes.

Joshua looked at the opened door, feeling somewhat in disbelief.
They could finally open the door?
“Hold on,” Joshua called out to her, feeling a pain in the back of his neck.
Cynthia had just stepped outside with one foot when she heard him. Then, she turned to look at him, asking indifferently, What is it?”
“Did you hit me?” Joshua asked the question that had been on his mind since waking up.
After coming out of the bathroom, he felt a sudden pain in the back of his neck. Before he could even process what was happening, he passed out.
Cynthia did not see any need to hide it and admitted, “Yes.”
Joshua was speechless.

She had hit him, yet she was so unapologetic about it.
“Don’t tell anyone about what happened today. That person will likely make a move again in a while,” Cynthia reminded him. as she was leaving.
