Chapter 363
Joshua’s heart sank, and he did not say anything more, just walking downstairs.
Moses did not ask what had happened between them or if they needed his help. If there were something he could do, Joshua
would let him know.
“Joshua,” Moses called out to him, taking long strides to catch up.
Joshua’s mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Cynthia.
“What is it?”
“If you don’t start chasing after her properly, Cynthia will never become my sister-in-law,” Moses reminded him.
Joshua glared at Moses.
Did he really need Moses to remind him?
“Do you want
me to help you pursue her?” Moses enjoyed the spectacle, but in the end, Joshua was his brother. “I can make her like you again, or at least not dislike you.”

Joshua felt even more disdain for him
How was that considered pursuing someone?
He decisively refused, “No need.”
“Are you sure?” Moses asked again.
Joshua did not answer and quickened his pace to the downstairs lobby.
Not long after they left, a figure appeared in the room they had been in earlier. After surveying the entire room, the person left and made a phone call.
Due to the time difference, it was noon at the other end of the line.
When the call connected, the conversation sounded casual
“How are things going?”
“Everything is progressing smoothly.”
“Anything strange?”
“None”
After saying that, the call on the other end ended, and a phone call was made to Jayleen, who was far away in Nexuria.
Jayleen felt her heart racing when she received the call.
Remembering what Cynthia had told her, she took out another phone and opened the recording function before answering, Hello.”
The phone in her hand had been tampered with by that person. If the conversation were recorded, they would be alerted on the other end. Hence, Jayleen had to rely on other means.
“Observe Joshua and Cynthia’s relationship during this time. Check if Cynthia is pregnant after a month,” the man uttered
Jayleen’s heart thumped anxiously as she replied, “Okay.”
“Jayleen,” the man suddenly called her name.
Jayleen’s heart ski pped a beat, instinctively fearing that address.
Before she could respond, the man’s gentle voice came through the phone, tinged with a hint of laughter. “Behave yourself You know the consequences of betraying me.”
