All the other grandchildren presented worthy gifts, even though the most valuable presents were worth only tens or thousands of dollars.

"Good! This is great!" Alvern was beaming where he sat. He was very pleased.

"Simone Langley, a member of the branch Langley family, and her fiance present a petrified coral." When it was Dustin and Simone's turn, Dustin brought out the antique he had won at the Antiquities Trading Hall.

When it was brought out, there was instantly an uproar.

"I heard that this is a very rare antique. It's worth no less than 20 million dollars. It's a rare gem!" muttered the guests.

"Dustin is too generous. Doesn't the Langley family look down on him? How could he possibly have the ability to spend so much money?" Some of the guests were shocked.

The members of the main Langley family turned ashen when the petrified coral was presented. They were very displeased.

Meanwhile, Alvern's eyes were sparkling. He was very pleased with the gift.

The main Langley had planned it all out and was ready to give Simone and Dustin a hard time during the banquet. It should not have mattered what Dustin brought as a gift.

Yet, Alvern was touched by Dustin's gift.

The members of the main Langley family looked at Dustin in confusion.

Why had Dustin's attitude changed?

Had he gotten some kind of clue and decided to make up with the main branch of the Langley family?

However, nothing would do him any good. They had all decided to destroy Dustin!

"Very good," Alvern said. Then, he had a staff accept the petrified coral.

Dustin had impressed him during this juncture, and many focused on him. Everyone was discussing him.

"Dustin, why did you use such an expensive thing as a birthday gift?" Simone and her parents looked at Dustin.

"That old fart doesn't have much longer to live. Since he's also part of the Langley bloodline, he can have the coral as something to be buried with," Dustin said flatly.

Simone and her parents exchanged glances. It was a shame that they did not know what Dustin was actually planning.

"More guests have arrived!" came a sudden shout from the entrance.

"Announcing Mr. Daniel Wilder of the Wilder family of Somerton!" shouted

someone and the voice rang through the whole villa.

"It's the eldest son of the Wilder family of Somerton!"
