Michelle didn't say a word and just stood there, blocking the door.

Victoria held her waist while pacing around the house. She said through gritted teeth, “I'll only get angrier listening to all that, and it's not healthy for the baby if I get too emotional. Will you bear the consequences if anything happens to the baby?”

Michelle hesitated when she heard that.

Victor had obviously lost it, and something bad might happen to Victoria if she went out now.

Michelle wouldn't be able to forgive herself if the baby in Victoria was harmed.

At this time, Kimberly walked down the stairs. Her eyes turned gloomy when she saw the tension between Victoria and Michelle.

“Let Ms. Victoria meet with Mr. Victor since she wants to. It's unhealthy for the baby if she sulks for too long.”

Michelle gave Kimberly a troubled look. “Mrs. Gezmond, please don't incite her. I really cannot allow her to go out.”

Kimberly's gaze fell on Victoria's flat tummy, and her eyes became even gloomier.

Kimberly never had a child, and she had had to put up with Benjamin's cheating antics when he was still alive. She even had to protect their home after he died, wasting all her youth on him.

The Gezmond family owed her too much.

What gives them the right to be happy together, being there for each other as they await their unborn child, while I stay as a widow for life?

Kimberly's anger intensified as she thought about that, and her urge to destroy everyone from the Gezmond family became stronger.

“I'm still the matriarch of this house, so stop blocking the door. Let her out. I'll take responsibility for whatever happens.”

Before Kimberly came down, she had noticed Victor's bloodshot eyes. He looked as if he could kill someone anytime. Victoria would surely be in trouble if she just went up to him ignorantly.

That was what Kimberly wanted. She wanted Victor to kill the child in Victoria. She wanted to end the Gezmond family since all her youth had been spent in this family.

The housekeepers that were blocking the door moved after hearing that order.

Although Lionel now had a say in the Gezmond family, Kimberly still held the most power here.

The staff there would lose their job if they ever defied her orders.

Michelle glared at all of them when they moved, and Victoria quickly ran out when she didn't notice.

Seeing that, Michelle hurriedly chased after her, and she even ordered two of the housekeepers to protect Victoria. Michelle was anxious, and she hoped that nothing would go wrong.

Victoria ran through the garden and arrived at the front gate.

“Have you had enough? If yes, then take a break, and let's have a good talk.”

Victor spat on the ground and scoffed, “What else is there to talk about? Victoria, if you're still the daughter of the Saunders family and my little sister, then take back what's mine from Lionel! That share was supposed to be mine! What right does he have to own them?”

Victoria mocked, “I used to think you're only a loafer, but it seems that you're shameless too. Lionel bought the shares from you for twenty billion! What right do you have to tell me to take it back for you?”

Victor was stumped, and his expression changed into a ruthless one. “You backstabbing b*tch! You team up with an outsider to step on your own brother! I'll teach you a lesson today on behalf of the Saunders family!”

After saying that, he stormed forward and tried to release his anger on Victoria.

“You're carrying his child, right? All right, I'll kill the child first. That'll end your delusions.”

Victoria was shocked when she heard that and retreated backward.

She had never thought Victor would be this mad. She was hoping to have a discussion with him and give him some money so that things could be smoothed over. Never did she expect him to want to kill her child.
