The sight of Lysander struggling to rise from the ground, his efforts failing and the resulting frustration as he beat his legs, tore at Thalassa's heart.

Lysander, once standing tall and unbeatable, faced the brutal reality of his immobilized legs-a catastrophic blow to a man of his stature. His pride wounded, his confidence crushed under the weight of his condition, his soul tormented. The thought of Lysander living under such torment, every day shadowed by despair, caused Thalassa's heart to ache with a dull pain.

"I'm fine, Dr. Funke. Please, tend to Lysander first. I'm alright, really. Look at me, I can walk, eat, and sleep-there's nothing major wrong with me," Astrid insisted upon hearing Dr. Funke's reluctance to treat Lysander due to her own health issues. She hurried out of bed, taking a few steps forward and spinning around to prove her point, eager to free up Dr. Funke's time for Lysander.

Her show of strength only made Dr. Funke more adamant: "Your body is severely weakened. Without intervention, you won't last much longer. Don't doubt a doctor's advice; I won't be swayed." Astrid was shocked. What did Dr. Funke mean that she wouldn't last much longer?

Thalassa, too, grew anxious, quickly saying, "Then please, Dr. Funke, focus on my aunt. As for Lysander..."

"If you're set on getting treatment for Lysander, there's a way," Dr. Funke mentioned.
