Chapter 74 Avery's POV | stared at the empty clearing in confusion, then back at the note in my hand. Maybe I had messed up my directions? | was pretty sure this was the clearing where | had told my mother to meet me, but there was no one else here. | went towards a fallen stump and sat on it. Something crinkled and | stood back up. There was a note on the stump. A piece of white paper, somewhat crumpled from me sitting on it accidentally.
