Sarah was quick on the draw, pulling out the dagger.
“All of you, stop!”
She bellowed, pressing the dagger to her own wrist. “If you don’t let me through, I’m going to slit my wrist for your viewing pleasure!”
The tussling bodyguards were brought up short by her yell, looking at her as one.
“Miss, this is not the way to go, you can’t harm yourself over this. It’s a losing proposition.”

Elon was scared stiff by her move, breaking out in a cold sweat. “If you were to get hurt, how would I face Mr. and Mrs. Grammer?”
“You’ve seen it, I’m the second daughter of the Grammer family in S City, the jewel in the crown of the Grammer family. If I were to get hurt, do you think the Grammer family would let everyone here off the h ook? Can you imagine the steep price you’d have to pay?”
Sarah was certain that her status would strike fear into these bodyguards. Giving Elon the side-eye, she snorted, “If you don’t want your world to come crashing down, you’d better step aside.”
“Miss Grammer, why are you doing this?” The lead bodyguard was clearly hesitant. “How about we both back off? You return home with your men and we’ll forget you were here. How’s that sound?” “That won’t cut it! I’m here to get what I want.”
Sarah casually tossed the dagger to the ground.
At this point, all eyes from the third-floor bodyguards were on Sarah.
In a flash, Elon led his men to overpower the bodyguards on the third floor.
After a neck and neck fight, the tables had turned and Sarah now held all the aces.
“Miss Grammer, I wanted a good faith talk, but you’re playing dirty!” “What’s this about playing dirty?” Sarah sneered. “I call this ‘outsmarting’.” With that, she gestured for her bodyguards to escort the others away.
Suddenly, a low, angry rumble of a man’s voice echoed up from the stairs.
“Huh, quite the ‘outsmarting.””
Patric ascended the stairs, coldly huffing.
Looking at Sarah, his eyes were filled with repugnance, making no attempt to hide it.

“I suggest you make yourself scarce, Miss Grammer. This villa is too small for your high and mighty presence.”
Sarah spun around, suddenly feeling sheepish. “No, Patric, let me explain…”
“Explain what? Why you and your men stormed into my villa in broad daylight? Bullied my people?” Patric shot her a look of distaste. “I don’t need any irrelevant people in my house. If you don’t leave, I’ll have you shown the door.”
“Patric! How dare you call me irrelevant!”
Sarah stomped her foot, seething with rage. “I’m your future wife. Why on earth would you treat me like this? I trailed after you all the way from S City to Frant City. Doesn’t that move you even in the slightest?

“Despite knowing our engagement, knowing that I get jealous, you still treat that harlot Grace so well! Only when it comes to me, you can’t be bothered! You turned down a chance to see me just to have lunch with her in the office! What do I have to do for you to accept me? Should I rip out my heart for you to see?!
“And even now, you’re harboring another woman in your villa! Patric, am I even in your heart?”
Sarah’s eyes quickly turned red.
She bit her lip and lunged at him.
With swift agility, Patric sidestepped, leaving Sarah grasping at thin air.
“Have some self-respect.”
“Self-respect? Have you forgotten that I’m your bona fide fiancee? It’s only natural for me to show up at my fiance’s house! If I wish to embrace my fiance, who dares to say no!”
Sarah was so livid she felt like she was about to blow a gasket, reiterating her status over and over. Patric’s face was a shade of ill-disguised disgust.
“Seems like you’ve forgotten how we got engaged. If you want to make a fuss about it, I don’t mind jogging your memory.”
Sarah was instantly choked up, her face flushing white then red.
“Ah, remember now?” Patric glanced at his wristwatch, “I have other matters to attend to. See Miss Grammer out, immediately.”
“Yes.”
After his rebuke, Sarah recoiled guiltily but seeing him adamant about driving her away, she regained her nerve.
“Fine, I’ll leave, but I’m taking the woman from your villa with me!”
Patric’s face turned stony, his patience running thin, “There’s no one else in my villa, let alone any
woman.”
Sarah scoffed, “Hedda Mellis, the older sister of Nancy and the heiress of the Mellis Group, is she not here? I’m taking her with me today!”
“What Hedda? Never seen her, your accusations need to be backed up with evidence.”
Patric smirked, signaling more bodyguards to come over, “Show her the door.”
“I have every right to take away other women from my fiance’s home! Today, you’re going to open.

“Sarah, my patience with you has its limits,” Patric squinted his eyes, a hint of menace seeping into his gaze.
“Regardless of what you say today, I’m taking Hedda with me! There’s no room for negotiation on
this!”
Sarah held her head high, showing a steadfast resolve for the first time.
Patric snickered, “Whether there’s room for negotiation isn’t your call. If you refuse to leave, I don’t mind calling off the engagement right now.”

Sarah stag gered back in shock. “You’re seriously ready to call off our engagement for the dame in
the room!”
