Charis smiled coldly. She had to admit that Tiffany was one hard nut to crack.

Charis pursed her lips and tried for a casual tone. “It would be best if she proved herself innocent, of course.” She cast a pointed look at Tiffany, letting it linger for a couple of seconds.
