Paisley was extremely jealous of the 999 roses that Joseph sent to Paige today.

However, she didn't understand why he had to skip the meeting for this. Was it an important day today?

Joseph went back to his mansion before going to the flower shop. The person who kept an eye on him said that he left in a few minutes.

"Married? Did he really say that?" She asked.

"That's what the people in the flower shop said."

She frowned and thought about it for a while. Suddenly, a terrible idea came to her mind. Did Joseph go home to get a household registry so he could get his marriage certificate with Paige?

If that was the case, then things were not looking good. Paisley immediately stood up and ordered her driver to buy some fruit before hurrying over to the Dawson family's mansion to talk about what was going on.

Hayden didn't go for a walk in the garden because of Paisley's arrival. She came in with fruits in her hand and said, "Sorry that I came here without informing you. Mr. Dawson, do you mind?"

"Of course not! Please have a seat! Bring Ms. Anthony some tea!"


"I won't drink the tea. I came here to tell you something. It's about your son." She did not beat around the bush and spoke straight to the point.

"Alright, let's talk in the study!" He stood up and led her to the room. They sat opposite each other, and he said to her, "No outsiders are around. You can say whatever you want."

"Well, I'm here because Joseph's behavior is abnormal. He didn't attend the executive meeting today and left the company early, claiming that he was not feeling well. However, I heard that he came here and went to the flower shop to buy 999 roses to bring home. He also told the flower shop staff that he would need 9999 roses when he got married."

What she said implied to him that she had arranged for people to follow Joseph and that she knew everything about his actions. Then, Hayden's expression changed.

"Joseph came home? Why didn't the caretaker tell me?"

After saying that, he immediately got up and opened the door. "Did Joseph come back today?"

The caretaker listened to Joseph, and she did not inform Hayden of his arrival.

However, now that Hayden was asking her about it, she didn't dare lie to him.

"Yes, Sir Joseph came back, but he purposely instructed me not to tell you."

"Why did he come back?"

"I don't know. He left a few minutes after entering the study!"

Hayden's expression changed when he heard that. He turned around and opened the safe in the study room. The household registry was gone!

He gritted his teeth and said, "That b*stard!"

Paisley was troubled when she saw his anger. "Please calm down, Mr. Dawson!"

How was it possible for him to calm down?

He stormed out of the study and called Lucas, "Get a bodyguard for me right now. I'm going to look for Joseph right now!"

Lucas had never seen him act like this. He asked in surprise, "Huh? What happened?"

"He secretly came back to get the household registry, and it seems that he is ready to marry Paige. Get someone to take the registry back and tie him up. I'd like to see how he will marry Paige in that state!" When Lucas heard Hayden's orders, he was startled. Unlike Hayden, he thought things through and immediately stopped the impulsive plan. "You can't do that, Mr. Dawson!"

"Why can't I? I have always been tolerant of him. I can't believe he actually ignored what I said. How can I stand it? I must teach him a good lesson today!"

"You can't do this! Please calm down!" He stopped the triggered old man. "Sit down and let me finish!"

Paisley also helped him stop Hayden. The two of them helped him into his study and sat down. Hayden was furious. "Tell me, Why can't I do this?"
