“Yes, Chairman Lin!” Bob nodded.

Dachun Zhang couldn’t believe his ears. His company would be doomed if Huading Group terminated the cooperation between them.

“Chairman Lin, please give us another chance! My son will be severely punished for his mistakes!” Dachun begged.

“Shut up!” Josh frowned. He squinted his eyes and said in a firm voice: “You should feel lucky that I don’t want to keep pursuing this matter, or both of you will have to die for what you did!”

Dachun’s face went pale after hearing what he said. He felt his heart was pounding violently in his chest. He knew Josh surly has the ability to kill them considering he is Moses’s grandson.

Tiger’s legs failed him and he collapsed on the ground. Despair was written all over his face. He knew he was seriously doomed.

Josh sat on his leather sofa, waved his hand and said: “Get out of here!”

Bob then opened the door and motioned the two of them to leave. “Please.” He said.

They walked out of the lounge room hopelessly, and the moment they were outside the room, Dachun delivered a hard slap across Tiger’s face.

“You bloody fool! Why do you have to mess with Moses’s grandson! You want to get us killed?” Dachun roared with rage.

“Dad, How was I supposed to know that he is Moses’s grandson!” Tiger said.

They felt too ashamed to stay there so they left the party right away.

In the lounge room, Bob said to Josh: “Chairman Lin, I would terminate our cooperation with Hongda Building Materials Company even if there was no resentment between you and them.”

“Is that so? What’s your reason?” Josh looked at Bob.

“The quality of the materials provided by their company is poor, and their price is very high. The only reason why we chose them as a cooperator was because they bribed Wu Family.”

“I see.” Josh nodded.

Bob continued: “Chairman Lin, now we must find another company to provide us with building materials. Do you have any recommendations?”

“I’ll leave it to you. You can find another company for us.” Josh said.

“Thank you for your trust, Chairman Lin. I will find a company that can give us materials of good quality and reasonable price.” Bob felt very glad for being trusted by Josh.

Fatty, a good friend of Josh’s, arrived at the hotel to attend the drinking party, because Josh told him yesterday that he is welcomed to come if he wants. So he came to check out how grand this party could be.

However, he was stopped at the gate of the hotel by two security guards. They found Fatty’s dress way too plain, which was a stark contrast to the other people coming to Qingyun Hotel, who were dressed in such elegant dresses.

“Sir, please wait a second.” They said.

Fatty looked at them and said: “I’m here to attend Huading Group’s party. What’s the problem?”

“Sir, can you show us your invitation card?” They said.

“Invitation card? I was invited by the Chairman of the Qingyang branch office of Huading Group. He didn’t give me an invitation card. He just told me to come.”

“I’m sorry. You can’t get in without an invitation card.” The two guards stood in front of him.

“Didn’t I tell you? He didn’t give me the card. He just told me that I can come if I want to. You can ask the Chairman if you want.” Fatty said.

The two guards burst into laughter as if Fatty just told a funny joke.

At that time, the manager of the hotel walked towards them, dressed in a suit.

“What is going on here? Why are you quarreling?” He asked.

“Manager, this gentleman here said he was invited to the party by the Chairman of Huading Group. But he doesn’t have an invitation card.” The guards said.

Fatty nodded and said: “That’s right. Me and the Chairman are good friends. He invited me.”

The manager looked at Fatty up and down, and then he also laughed. He said: “What? You said you and the chairman are good friends? And he invited you?”

“Yes.” Fatty nodded.

“You are must kidding. If you want me to believe you, you should at least stop wearing those shabby clothes of yours. I think you just want to get in and have some free lunch!” The manager said laughingly.

Fatty blushed with shame. He never dared to complain after being looked down upon, but that day he suddenly remembered Josh would protect him, and Josh once told him that he should not put up with people’s harassment, and that he should fight back bravely.

So, Fatty looked up and said : “Are you judging me just because of my clothes? You are such a snub.”

The manager frowned and said: “What did you call me? Are you tired of living!”

“I called you a snob! You heard me.” Fatty said.

“You bastard!” The manager roared. He then delivered a hard slap across Fatty’s face.

Fatty was taken aback by this slap. He didn’t believe the manager would hit him.

“Did you just slap me?!!” Fatty widened his eyes.

The manager tipped his chin and answered: “Yes, I did. I hope this slap can help you to figure out who you really are!” He then said to the guards: “Now kick this loser out!”

The guards then got hold of Fatty and began dragging him away.

“Just wait! This isn’t over! You will pay the price for hitting me!” Fatty pointed at the manager and shouted.

“Fine. I am waiting.” The manager said coldly. He didn’t feel threatened at all, because he had met numerous people and he believed he could tell which class does a person belongs to simply by a glance, and he was pretty sure that Fatty is from the bottom of the social classes, so he was not afraid of him at all.

After being dragged out of the hotel by the guards, Fatty took his phone out and called Josh.

“What? You were beaten at the gate of the hotel?” Josh stood up from his chair after hearing what Fatty said. He was astonished. He continued: “Fine. Don’t worry. I’ll be there in a minute.”

He then hung up the phone. His face darkened. He couldn’t believe his brother was beaten for attending his drinking party.

“Chairman Lin, what happened?” Bob asked.

“My friend was slapped by the hotel manager.” Josh said coldly.

“What?” Bob was also surprised. He knew Josh wouldn’t let the matter rest easily.

“Bob, let’s go.” Josh said.
