Elizabeth felt her eardrums hurting from the shock. She pursed her lips and put down her chopsticks.

“I’m done. I’ll be leaving now. Jess, I’ll take care of the three kids tonight.”

“There’s no need to send me. There are so many guests here that need to be taken care of. Don’t worry about me.”
